Ok i had an idea and was just wondering do you guys think this would work

Ok This is my idea

My dad emails probably about 15 of his old school friends or friends from the neighborhood everyday. They just send each other the regular stuff that goes around the internet like cool pictures interesting facts/ cool stories ...

Well anyway if he is the first one to send one of these emails it always seems he will get it sent back to him like 2 or 3 weeks later and there will be like 200 emails at the top for everyone who received it and it just gets sent back to him by one of his friends by accident.

This is what i was thinking i read this story about a 18 year old kid who is making 100K a year on the internet it was a pretty good story its actually what got me into IM about 6 months ago

This 18 year old kid also sold an ebook of course about how to make money online i saw it on like aol.com or something.

Anyway this is what i was thinking if i could find a person with a insperational story and who sells and ebook would it be wrong to send it through my dads email with an affiliate link.

Is this spam mail even though my dad emails these people everyday and yes my dad agrees to me sending this email.

What do you guys think

    Hi Eric,

    I would suggest spending some time on here learning about the fundamentals about affiliate marketing. There are tons and tons of ways you can make money without spending a dime. You can signup to be an affiliate at clickbank and build a blog on blogger, and that's all you need. There is a lot of great information on this forum.

    It's viral marketing. :-)

    Of course it's spam, but if it's a funny story, a great joke or a really really intersting story, people will love it. However, as soon as you stick your contact info in it, it becomes spam, spam, spam, spam (from an old Monte Python bit - my age is showing).

    What would happen if you put the story on a webpage and just sent out the link? How about a funny video on youtube with your website listed at the bottom of the video? Pass around the link.

    It would really have to be spectacular for people to want to pass it on to friends.

    I'm thinking about the music group that does the well choriographed performance on a group of running treadmills. They perform it to some of thier own music and thus put themselves on the screens of many computers.

    I think you're thinking along the right tracks. Instead of spamming them, just ask your dad to add a signature to the bottom of his email with your affiliate link the next time he sends out one of these emails. You never know just how far that email could go.

      Yes this is what im saying but im saying also i would add a story about an internet marketer who made it big to interest them.

      I wouldnt make up the story i would find a true interesting story of course

    Why not tell your dad to send an information about recession since it is a hot issue? Pointing out the cause and effect plus put the sig "Here's How I Solve the Recession!" linking to an affiliate link.

    Another is to create a story that tends to earn money and put a question. Could this link be an answer to recession or any other problem you can think about? And let them send it back their answer because you are creating a survey or a report about it. ;-)
