How Did They Put My Info In The Ebook I Bought?

INTERNET MARKETING

I never saw this before. I bought an ebook and purchased it through PayPal. When I opened up the PDF, I noticed that my email and PayPal Transaction number were imprinted on each page of the ebook!

(Very clever because if anyone wanted to upload it or share it, they would know who did it.)

Anyway, since I have many ebook products., I could use this. So, how was this actually done?

Software.

There is HTML to PDF tools and Doc to PDF tools.

They get your information and push it into a php variable, then pass the php variables to the PDF maker, then direct you to where you are allowed to download the pdf.

I have yet to come accross any particular software that does this. Do you have a link or name? It would be great to put the buyer's full contact information and a line that says in big bold letters "If you have any questions call me here at any hour". That's one way of deterring them from sharing the file!

Bryan, the process is called PDF stamping. Google it, and I'm sure you can find out more.

EJunkie says they offer it to people who sell ebook through them. Here's their article...
