First it should be related to your site niche and rich with keywords. Can you elaborate a little more on your question?

I have a pen name, I was thinking about creating a quick blog for each niche and I would like to know what pages I should create.

If one of my niches was about save my marriage, and the character that was promoting it is mary, than should I have:

    Page one: about me?
    Page Two:
    Page Three:
    Page Four?

Just looking for some suggestions on how to set up niche blogs like this

    tx

Depending on what the blog was called. Using your example, if the name of the blog is Saving My Marriage

Don't have About Me --- Have About Saving My Marriage
" " Contact Me --- " Contact Saving My Marriage
      Articles On Saving My Marriage
      Saving My Marriage Blog
      Get the idea?

So, you would just create a blog post your content on home page?

I guess if my intent is rank for the post and not the blog then just get the content flowing is the best thing

    BINGO!!! :p

(just talking to myself: what about trying to use the freaking tool they have - WordPress - to learn how it works, so that they don't ask embarrassing questions revealing that they don't know what are they talking about...)

    Simple rule of thumb:

Wordpress Pages: 'static' content - they don't change, such as 'about us', 'privacy', 'contact', etc.

Wordpress Posts: They are listed in reverse chronological order - the latest posts first.

Each time you create a post, Wordpress will automatically "ping" for you.

But not pages. I don't think wordpress pings when you create a page (unless things have changed :-)

If you have an important article (created as a 'post') and you want to highlight it, you can make it sticky on the front page from the "Settings" menu.

    Best regards,
    Adrian

I feel you are little unaware about basics of setting a blog, my advice is just read the basics of any free blog site, how they work, how to put posts and pages on it. Once you familiar with it then start the things.
