Quick cash is often wanted judging by the number of help questions
asked on this forum.

The answers given are often "sell a service", "write articles".

So the next question is, "how do you find people who want articles written and will pay?"

Since it always easier and not a time suck to have them come to you,
and not pay for advertising when starting out...this will help you.

Search Craigslist: Free Craigslist Search Engine to search ALL Craigslist

Go to the website and type in freelance article writer.

Bingo, dozens and dozens of them will come up.

Admittadly, many will of been deleted, filled or had lots of replies.

Fortunatly, they have a email alert service which will send
them to your email as soon as one is posted.

Many posters want the work done urgently so you get first crack
at them.

Set yourself up a Google Alert too.

Now you have a steady flow of people looking for writers coming to you...
everyday!

    Thanks Ewen, that's very handy indeed. I keyed in freelance article writer +niche and found a gig for 200-800 word articles paying $20-40 an article. I tossed an email out there to see what happens :-)

    Not yet, I'll get that done in a tick.

    As an aside, I'm overnighting in Auckland in March next year, on my way to Rotorua for the Tarawera Ultramarathon. Looking forward to it.

    Ewen, how about native speaker results for Odesk, Elance, etc? Have you ever tried to find good writers via these Freelance sites?

    I've had good luck with both. Now I avoid the $2.22/hour overseas help for strong writing, but I've had good luck finding the talent I need for good content.

      I get tons of emails for writing gigs every day. I don't do a lot of freelance writing anymore, but I never was able to bring myself to unsub from the lists.

      I'm like a 2 year old. I'm afraid I'm going to miss something. LOL

      But I hadn't seen this. Pretty cool. TY.

        I was using the search tool for something completly unrelated,
        and thought about Warriors wanting higher paying
        article gigs than paid in our community.

        Sure enough, swags of them came up.

        So shot over here to tell you all.

        Certainly a great feeling having a steady stream of leads

      Hi Vince,

      I took on a full time contract Fillopino lady a couple of years ago.

      Found her on a website for Fillopino outsources before
      it was shut down to outside hirers.

      Have hired an American article re-writer through Elance.
      Had others lined up if she didn't come through.

      They would be all capable of writing articles of good quality.

      My re-writer would do a under 500 word new article for $5.

      They are out there, just need to find, qualify and train.
