Ethical Marketing...the way to go.

Hello to all,

When I started affiliate marketing, I didn`t know what I was doing and how it worked out but after a few months, I realized in what type of game I was. Affiliate marketing is simply a game of: Competition. However, like in real life, some peoples does it the ethical way and some does it the non ethical way. I think doing un-ethical marketing is useless and will just catch you up in the future. Would you feel proud of having others people money but knowing you just plan robbed that money? I don`t like how a lot of new marketers market their product and in the Warrior Forum community, people have more knowledge and just notice that these new marketers use dishonest techniques to sell more.

A successful business is a business that offers value to it`s customers and asks money as a return. If you are `` Guru ``, wouldn`t you be proud of helping others people make money online and change the life of stay at home moms and young people without a job? I know I would. Just think twice before starting an online business, offer value and quality to your customers. I have a lot of respect to marketers such as Chris Farrell, Micheal Rasmussen, Jack Humphrey, they offer quality and make a lot of money too.

    I couldn't agree more with your sentiments.

    I know we aren't to 'discuss' other shades of hats than white, but I would like to also mention that in my experience (which while not being vast, is still quite numerous) white has given me more long term profits, and opened avenues to more additional ventures than the darker shades ever could.

        I agree with you, whitehat is the way to go if you're looking for longterm profits, a stable business and generally a business where you don't have to worry about going offshore, getting banned, sued, into jail or whatever.

        However, as an affiliate, your reputation isn't really on the line, since nobody knows who you are. That starts to change as soon as you build a list of course and move up in your niche to become a guru.

        As a nobody, you can make use of these fast-cash, short-term, black-hat strategies, because nobody knows that was you. Of course, I'm not advising you to do this. It really depends on everyone's ethics.

          Exactly. Nobody will or can know who you really are. You can steal people`s money without being caught or sued but you still know it yourself you just did a robbery. Anyways its not like it`s everyone who is using blackhat techniques but anyways, there are a lot of honest marketers in this game. The new trend of marketers however doesnt look so ethical.
