Help choosing a passionate niche

Can someone please help me discover a passionate niche I can write and earn adsense income with. I know that I would like to write a children's book, I'm also interested in public domain pictures. Is there a way to earn adsense income with these interests?

    I would think that most keywords for those niches would not be very valuable. If you were able to get clicks, you probably wouldn't make more than an average of 15¢ per click. That probably wouldn't be worth it.

    The best adsense sites are based around keywords that are used for high-dollar leads or high cost products.

    You should be able to make money with those interests if you are passionate enough about them.

    But it would probably be better if you had a strong interest in something where people have more basic and survival-type needs. Like weight loss, debt, eating healthy, relationships, etc.

    Hey Andrea ... if you have a passion for writing books for children, don't ruin it with Adsense. Instead, create a website where you share some of your stories, and over time build a mailing list. Once you have some content on your site, and a solid amount of subscribers, pitch your books through that. You will make more of a return on your investment, and won't chase people away with Adsense ads.

      place 1-2 chapters of your stories up for free...and then offer the
      rest of the book for $$

      this way people (and kids) will become (hopefully) engaged in the
      story and desire to know the rest of the story.

    Save your passion niches for your own products, not Adsense.

    Adsense works and earns the best on very targeted sites built around high earning buying keywords. Most passion blogs/sites will get 5 cent clicks instead of the $2+ clicks found on well targeted sites.

    Plus, while a proper Adsense niche site is designed to flow traffic away from itself and toward advertisers' sites, a passion site wants to engage and retain readers.

    Ok, thanks everyone for your great advice. Do you think it necessary to be involved in something you write articles about. For example, I am interested in nutrition, however I don't always eat very healthy? Are there related niches to this apart from weight loss?

    What are the well paid niches, can you give some more examples? Perhaps I could do some keywords research on those and post articles on web 2.0 sites such as Hubpages to see how they do.

    I like the idea of creating my own site for the children's books and perhaps building an email list of subscribers of those interested in my stories.
