INTERNET MARKETING

Just saw warriors own Ron Douglas on Fox.

I haven't been on warriors for a minute but thats
very big news.

Thats a very good looks, and one that many of
us dream of.

If you don't know Ron is one of the coolest guys
on here.

Everything was on point. You looked good in that suit too.

Congrats man.

Recession proof. I like that...

  I just watched the video. I bet he's gonna have a whole lot more subscribers to his list and forum after that prime-time tv spot!
  
  And he even had the guts to ask for a few extra seconds to thank a few people.

  We'd help out my hot porn girls by giving them a new career opportunity--- while at the same time giving the Warrior forum some free publicity minus the boring, wholesame family value stuff.
  
  As for Ron....my man was stylin' and profilin in that gangster suit!
  
  Congrats.....on getting your message out there to the masses...awesome stuff. For real. Publicity is another one of those underused mediums a lot of IM'ers don't bother with. Ron is living proof it works....that any good offer can lend itself to free press.

  That's totally cool that he mentioned Mike F., especially that Mike wasn't able to make the spot for his scheduled show. It was almost like Ron Douglas saying, "I got your back Mike. Here's a shout out for you." Very cool. It's so great to see posts like this that inspire rather than the posts where people bring all their emotional baggage into posting without realizing it.

Thanks guys. That interview is really opening some new doors for me. I have an interview scheduled next week on WCBS AM's national radio show and possibly an appearance on Food TV soon. I've also got a publishing deal pending with a few offers coming in. Fun times.

  Being on TV is great for your business because you can put "As Seen on TV" in your marketing to add instant credibility. However, unless you're on Oprah, Regis, Tyra, or the big national shows, you won't see a life changing increase in your subscribers or sales. It still all comes down to targeted marketing - you want to promote something that the audience for the show will want.
  
  The problem was, if I started promoting work at home opportunities on Fox Business, it might have ruined my chances of getting addional exposure. For the first time, I just went with the flow instead of turning it into an informercial.
  
  Honestly, being on Fox Business at 8:40 am did not reach a lot of people interested in buying cookbooks. I did get a bunch of new subscribers and sales - just not life changing numbers.
  
  It was really just a stepping stone for the next opportunity.

  I was on national BBC breakfast news once talking about my band. It didn't add a lot to ticket sales but for a while a lot of people I knew mentioned it and my cousins were positively embarrassing
  
  "This is my cousin - he was on the BBC last week".
  
  The important thing was, it gave me a lot of credibility in my social circle. Before that TV slot
  
  "Oh, Martin's got a band. And . . . ?"
  
  Afterwards, people were asking about our website, songs, gigs.
  
  Now you will have to change your WF name to Ron "National TV" Douglas
