Any free tool to edit PDF files?

How do you guys edit a pdf file without having to buy the Adobe software?

I tried converting to words, but didn't work well. I found a few free website, but its very limited, like I couldn't insert an image, or couldn't delete a part (you can just use "white out", which if the background color is something other than white, you are screwed).

Is there any easy way or use friendly tool that could help to edit a pdf file? All I need to do is change 1 image and edit a few sentences.

I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Try OpenOffice.org - The Free and Open Productivity Suite one of the best free software suites out there in my opinion.

A couple years ago I used Nitropdf. Just looked it up and they still have a free trial. Not sure how long the trial lasts, but it allows you to edit the actual pdf. Pretty sweet!

Try checking convertpdftoword.net. I've used this web-based PDF to Word converter (free trial version) and it has so far worked for me most of the time. There are many of them, just google convert pdf to word.

    Hi
Go to google and type in pdf995
    It should appear as No1

Download it and its free to use. You just get shown an advertisement each time you use it but you can close the ad once it appears.

I have used it for years to create ebooks etc and it works very well

Hey, I think pdf to word is a good method if you use a good converter. Editing word doc is much easier than in a PDF editor, right? I used a converter called anybizsoft pdf to word converter. Try this anyway, Satrap. :-)

If it's your pdf, then you should have the doc file... If not, use MS Word or Open Office, then convert to pdf...

    OR:

Try the online PDF to Word converter from BCL Research or the one from NitroPDF

Thanks for your suggestion. But I am not looking for a pdf maker, I am looking for a pdf editor. Something that lets you edit a pdf that isn't yours (you don't have the files for it)

It sounds to me like he may have misplaced or lost the .doc files for the PLR material.

Thanks for your help. But, I cant find any other files besides the pdf itself and another one where it lists the right you have or don't have.

If you really need a high quality PDF to .doc conversion, a low cost alternative to Adobe is Foxit, I've used it extensively over the years and find that it is streamlined, fast and accurate, and probably every bit as good as Adobe.

if it is not your pdf like you mentioned before it may have security enabled on it preventing you from editing it. If the author has enabled security then most likely if you don't have the password you cannot edit it. if its plr then you should have the doc or txt file(s) to accompany it. I use open office and e-writer pro for my pdf, e-writer gives me the option to protect the pdf.

Hope this is of some help.

I've been using https://www.pdftoword.com/ which uses the NitroPDF engine.

You just select the file, put in your email address, and a few minutes later you receive an email with the word document in it.

NOTE: Do not expect your formatting to be perfect. There is a good chance you will need to reformat the document before you export to PDF again.
