Anyone interested in exchanging Diggs?

Don't kid yourself. This is how the power diggers do it. This strategy works extremely well. There are just a few things you need to do:

1) Have a big enough group to make a difference. If you've got great content, an extra 50-100 diggs at the right time can push something to the front page. You need the first push to get to the top of upcoming, and then you'll need another push when you first make front page and need to fight off the bury brigade.

2) Have your users digg from the article URL, not the Digg URL. In other words, put up a Digg badge on your article and have people click from there.

3) Individuals in your group should not vote more than 50% of the articles submited. You want there to be enough of a random spread of people voting that they can't spot the voting ring. 50% is a very safe rate.

4) Articles need to be submitted from a power account. You can't take a new account and have it get 50 diggs on a submission in the first hour without attracting attention. That doesn't mean they have to be a top digger, just a fairly active account.

5) Don't friend the members of your group on Digg. Friend votes don't count for very much. And for heaven's sake, don't Shout your submission.

6) You'll need some friend diggs as well, but those will come organically if you've already got an active account.
