How Many Warriors Employ Black Friday Sales?

I have noticed a few people offering up Black Friday specials...

How common is this practice in the IM niche?

    I noticed that Ryan Diess is doing a related promotion. He actually sent out a piece of mail to me about some webinar tomorrow.

    I'm not sure how relevant it is though. People are buying stuff for Christmas presents on black friday. Their also just buying cheap stuff on specials.

    It can be very lucrative if you know what you are doing. I just throw up a few banners and see what I can catch I do not base my business around it.

    But this is the busiest and most profitable time of the year there is money being spent everywhere.

    The problem I have is Amazon for example is not very lucrative in their affiliate payouts 4-6% is chump change compared to digital products.

    But if you have a blog, or website based around physical products or multiple ones you can sell a ton of Holiday gifts and make a killing.

    I have too many things going on with my other blogs to really get into the Amazon side of things but I plan on getting a few started this time around next year.

    It amazes me all the people that sit outside Best Buy for example for 5 hours in the freezing cold to save $50 bucks. I seen one guy at the gas station he was in front of Target previously with a fire going etc...

    Now these are the real Warriors lol!

    I do it and it can be really lucrative, but it's all about targeting the right products or having a good customer base in the right niche.

    Although it's usually a pretty good day each year, I look forward to the rest of the time between then and Christmas more.

      I had the chance to anticipate it, but I thought it would be useless, as Black Friday is aimed at general consumers instead of marketers. (And yes, I know we are consumers too.)

      I also thought that people would be less inclined to spend on IM when they are shopping Christmas gifts.
