Login to your adsense account and click on the AdSense Setup tab.

You will see a link called "video units". when you click on that link
click on the FAQ section and then "How do I add a video unit to my page?"
It will give you an idea on what to expect since you will need to login to youtube as well.

Just as Bruce says, only when you go to,login to your youtube account use the login using your google account it is under the new account sign up link. This will take you to the MyAdsense players page where you set up the adsense youtube video players.

Does anyone know if these ads will appear and be clickable on the videos you have on Youtube as well, or only on the video on your own site?

If I remember rightly, at the moment you need to have a managed Adwords account to qualify.

I'll check with a couple of our developers...

I believe just on your own site as once set up you are given coding to embed in your site so the player shows up.

Just like the code for using adsense...

Thanks. That's the way I was understanding it too. But I've SEEN videos with Clickable links on Youtube and they were always "Sponsored Videos" so I thought this might be the answer. *Sigh. Back to my search.

This might be a good idea for using on parked domains until you get them ready for something else.

I just put up another thread, looking for ideas for how to monetize parked domains.

I added a group of them to my obama blog one day and made 7 bucks in adsense that day, but it seemed to be a one day thing.

You can add links to you tube videos they have just introduced a new feature Annotations were you can add callouts, notes and links to other you tube video and search results. Alsa you cannot added adsense links to it tried.

I had looked briefly at annotations, but I didn't think the made a 'clickable' LINK within the video. Now I have to go play with my videos and check that out. Thanks.
