Erm, why'd you open up a shop without a plan on how to market it? Do you have any basic plans?

Thanks

Well yes, People can get something at cheaper price. Now I did some linking back from several high pR sites and my site is nowhere to be seen in the search engine for the keyword called one dollar shop. Initially i was standing at 27th position. Now it is all gone. May be google slap or something. So I do not know what to do now?

For how long my site cannot appear in search results, if it is google slap?
is there any way to find, if my site was google slapped?

Please help..

Thanks

Hi Keyuria,

Your first step is to use some of the products you're selling in your shop. Just at a quick glance I see a couple list-building products, an article-marketing product, SEO products, affiliate marketing products... etc. Seems like studying the products in your shop would be a good first step.

I do agree for that and I even followed the same. One fine night I was making to get backlinks from PR 5 to PR 7 Sites and then next day morning my sites is off from the search engines. I think it is slapped by google. So Now What? Do you think writing some content will help to get back in search engines?

Thanks

Yes, you can force google to rerank your website more faster by updating your page by adding relevant article and linking to authority domain frequently.

Thanks

But you need traffic. It doesn't matter where you are in Google, as long as your site is getting traffic.

Keyuria, you have 10 ebooks about ways of gaining traffic - ebooks you already sell. I'll bet if you followed all of them, you would not need to worry about Google placement.

Here is a good one.... My mate in Pacific paradise bought and icecream shop in Gold Coast a while ago.

He knows I do the whole make money online and business was not doing so well. He was upset and the wife was telling him to sell, but he didnt want to.

I told him to do the following, pay a few hundred get girls in skimpy dresssed out in the sun with signs saying FREE ICECREAM TODAY....so they could come in and not only see half naked women would get them in to try free icecream.....

The whole idea was to get them in and try the samples....then they would buy. About 80% of the people that tried the free stuff loved it and ended up buying.

COOL EY?

The results.....for two days straight he had people almost lining up for icecreams and young blokes asking when the girls were coming back.....LOL

there ya go, age old marketing at its finest. I went and saw him on the second day when the girls were still hanging around and teh place was buzzing ....and he is happy.

You just have to think clever and use your own ingenuity. and have some fun like my mate mike.

Hope this helps. I want to wish you the best of luck and success with your business!!!

the keyword called one dollar shop

Hmm, do you think this keyword is really going to give you targeted traffic for IM ebooks?

I would never think in a million years to search "one dollar shop" if I wanted cheap ebooks.

Could just be me.

Thanks

100% in agreeance, that must be the WORST keyword researching I have ever seen, if you want to get traffic and sales, STOP being lazy!

Also your descriptions are awful on your website, a lazy start.

Well, it is because whatever am selling is going to be for one dollar and hence the title. Otherwise am also thinking of putting so many ebooks on several other niche and categories too.

Thanks

You are absolutely right! Because Traffic is the heart of online business. Am trying several tactics and the one I tried getting the backlinks from PR7 sites and I got slapped by Google.

There could be others too like social media on getting good traffic.

So here am looking for both ways.
How to get more traffic?
How to get out of the Google Slap?

Thanks

hi Keyuria,

maybe you could do a video of 'hunks in speedos' (idea borrowed from celente) doing a synchronised dance outside your store to some catchy tune. Upload the video to youtube (your channel) with the title/words - 'Girls get It 2 (Too)'. So targetting ladies, your female customers get 2 items for the price of 1 for a limited period. You build hype & attention and people buy your products.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks

The first step is to have your USP and know how your shop will be delivering to others. If you're opening a shop because you want to make money online without even thinking about your customers you won't go a long way. Focus on your customers first and if you're sure of your shop you might want to get traffic using methods like Pay Per Click.

Thanks
