WOOT WOOT! Made my first sale! :)

Hi all! Just getting my feet wet and have my first site up. I am still teaching myself how to format the page, etc. and it has a lot of work yet to be done... haven't started building backlinks, etc. yet. Nonetheless, someone managed to waddle to my page yesterday and bought several items through one of my affiliate links. Cannot WAIT to get this site in better shape and start in on the others!

Just had to share about it here, where people would understand why I'm SO excited about earning $21.

Congarulations first off I love to hear people getting their first sales.

That is what motivated me years ago after I made my first sale. Now I get them on a regular basis consistently.

Just keep working, and learning you will do well with your positive attitude down the road.

Congrats again and cheers to many more!

Cool, you did well. You actually took the first step that many millionaires online made. They made their very first dollar online.

I remember Johny boy Reese in the WF once said, once you ahve made your first dollar online, you are 98% of the way there to being able to make your first 6 figures.

It takes more guts, more determination, and a hell of a lotta work. But just saying you made your first sale, tells me one thing. That you are willing to stay up late, work your butt of and keep things going.

That is what you have to do. Make sure that while it is fresh in your mind and the excitement is there. use that to drive you to the next sale. Otherwise you will just be roaming round in a day, smiling and thinking to yourself how much money u are going to make and romance with yourself without taking further action.

So Well done!, great job, now keep going and work out how to get your first 5 sales, then your first 20 then your first 2000....so on and so on.

Keep up the good work, and heres cheers to many more sales to come.

    Celente.

My first commission was a lot closer to 21 cents than 21 dollars, but it was pretty exciting, so I know the feeling! Congrats!

hey 21cents is alot more than making nothing.

Like i said, once you get your first sale, something changes inside of you. Something drives you and your spiritual being and intuition then tells you this making money thing online is not a scam.

one of our students recently went from $5 a month....to over $900 a month. The reason is because he is super enthusiastic. And works hard, doing the right things. He knows that his time is valuable, and only spends it doing things that will get results. If they are not working, he moves on to something better.

if blog comments are brining him sales, he spends more time doing that. If PPC is working, he does that. If articles are giing him better results...he does that. I have seen him totally transform, it is amazing. He is not aiming for his first 1000 month.....and then some.

It can be done if you focus and use the excitment from you first sale come through and give you the energy to really get up to the next level.

    BooYah!

It's a euphoric feeling isn't it? Now...they key to building momentum
is to avoid constantly looking at your sales stats for atleast a week
or two. You ONLY want to focus on doing more of what you're doing
and THAN see what the sales are at the end of the week.

Naturally, you will transform from "always checking sales stats" to
rarely checking sales stats while you work and work some more to
get to where you want to go.

Pretty soon, you'll be making so much money you'll see it more as
keepting score and realize it was the journey all along that pushed
you to succeed -- not JUST the money.

Congradulations. You deserve it because so FEW people accomplish
    what you just did...

Congratulations, many marketers don't even make it this far, so give yourself a little pat on the back for a job well done. With that said, don't rest on your laurels, but instead use this as motivation to work even harder at making your next sale, testing and improving everything you're doing in the process.

Congratulations, your plan seems to be working, I still get excited when I find out i've had another order. It took me 6 months to make my first £1 online, I am so glad now I carried on taking action and stopped jumping from one idea to another.
Good luck to making lots more sales.

You'll never forget that first sale as someone mentioned. It's the turning point I believe.

Each and every other sale after feels just as sweet, mind you. I don't think I'm watered down any to seeing new payment notifications roll in. Even if I don't consiously think about it, when I do, I realise I get that tingly feeling after EVERY SALE!

    Good Job!

      Great job!

You're ahead of most IMer's as Paulie said, many give up without making one sale. Now focus on making your second and third sale. It gets easier with each one.

Congratulations! My first sale came a few weeks after I built my first site, and it was less than a dollar. It was quite an exciting moment, and I still feel the same excitement every morning when I fire up the 'puter and see the sales that have rolled in while I was sleeping.

        Wishing you much continued success.

You're right - it does get easier if you focus and hone in on what made you that first sale, and now what you need to do is spend the majority of your time carrying out those activities. Now is no time to rest, you want to keep the momentum going and start making more money!
