Hoping you can help me out?

I've got a site in subsection of the dog training niche and I'm looking for some guidance on how to best promote it and get customers to it.

I do want to spend some money, but unfortunately at this stage don't have heaps. I only have $50 per week to start with, but as I make sales and at least break even, I will increase this amount.

Im wondering, if you only had a budget of $50 per week, how would you invest it?

Im open to any ideas like ppc, banner ads etc... or even using that $50 to hire an outsourcer to do forum marketing as an example.

In addition to whats mentioned before, I am spending a little to do seo work, but looking at something that will bring results in the meantime.

At present I have a low ticket offer, that provides people with a step by step solution to a problem I noticed people asking in a few forums in the dog training niche.

How would you spend the $50 and why that method??

Look forward to hearing from you.

If you want to invest your $50 in something, you can use outsourcing. I will recommend staying away from PPC if you have yet to learn about it. Paid traffic requires strategy as well, lest you pay too much or receive the wrong, untargeted traffic.

However if you have sufficient time and willing to put in the effort you can do everything yourself. Learn SEO and build backlinks.

I agree with Daryl Lim. Stay away from PPC or PPV if you are not really expert in that. Seo and Backlinks is the best answer for someone with a low budget. Try to pay someone in Fiverr to get you backlinks. It only cost $5.

Are there any dog training ezines out there? If there are you could probably get an ad for $50 or save your $50 for a month and spend $200 on an ad. You'll reach a large number of people this way, and should receive a spike in traffic to your site. There are a lot of free ways to improve your traffic too. Blogging is a great way. Add a blog to your site if you don't have one already and blog daily.

Are there any dog training meetups in your area? You can check on Meetup.com.

It's a great way to meet some of your target audience, find out what's on their mind, get great ideas for more content, and promote your online presence.

And it's fun to hang out with other people who are passionate about your topic.

Just make sure you go in with the mindset of providing value and helping other people first.

For $50 per week you could quickly build up the amount of content on your website and you might be surprised at how much search traffic you can generate in a fairly short space of time.

Rewrite the content and submit it to article directories as well but to be effective with this you really need to target good keywords and get the articles good rankings.

Honestly, I would invest in marketing software like SEnuke that lets you send your content across the Internet far more quickly than doing it manually. Then, it's just a matter of writing.

$50 is a lot more than most newbies can afford to spend on a weekly basis for advertising. With that budget size, I think Daryl hit it right on the head. You can probably find a very good seo expert to do all of your marketing for you at that price. Even if you decide to go the 3rd party route, I would suggest taking some time and learning how to market effectively online for yourself.

if you are an expert in your domain, you'd probably know your demographics well I assume,
    You could build a list of popular urls/keywrods and try PPV; its a lot cheaper than ppc;

I'd build a landing page with cute/funny dog pictures(something that stands out) and have an double email opt in and grow your userbase that way.

Definitely put at least half of that income towards developing SEO so you can get organic traffic (free) to your site. This will lead towards longterm growth. Use the other half for targeted traffic. Go to Google, type in 'dog forum', or 'puppy forum' etc and find 5 forums that have a decent amount of traffic (here is a great one: Puppy & Dog Forums). See if any of them have banners advertising dog services. Begin with at least 5 quality posts a day. Once you reach at least 100 (less than a month) posts PM the webmaster and ask about placing a banner ad on the forum. At this time it would also be appropriate to add your link to your signature and perhaps begin a thread in a 'vendor' section of their forum.

To repeat, half of the money to building a long term solution for growth (SEO). The other half to drive targeted traffic.
