Best Places to find a VA

Hello Warriors,

I am looking to take on a VA, but I will be damned if I can find one.. the tasks I have are sooo simple that a 13 year old could do it so I am not interested in paying the money that some people are asking.

A phillipino would be ideal.... but I have know idea where to look

    Yeah I looked warriors for hire and to be honest they want silly money.... just because an american can charge $15 an hour or whatever it doesn't automatically mean a phillipino can charge the same :-)

    I have seen many gigs on fiverr saying "one or two hour va for $5" Never tried any but you can try anyone with good feedback.

        I like Odesk the most. Post an ad on there that you would like to fill, and then start inviting people that you think are qualified.

        There are a lot of people there that will work for $1 an hour if that's what you're looking for. Just keep in mind at $1 most people are probably going to be looking for another gig. Though you never know...post your job and invite qualified people and you'll get good prospects.

        Plus you can search for workers based on location, rating, asking price and more. I've found a couple really good workers through there.

        I've also heard that Linkedin is a good place to find philipino workers, though I've never tried it.

    I started off with odesk, but it's best to post a job there, and make it interesting for people to submit their bids... in other words, put as much detail as possible, and what you're willing to pay... start part time or on a trial basis, and if you like them enough, you can hire them outside of odesk full-time at a future desk.

    Americans want more money because our cost of living is much higher. I don't find that silly- just people here wanting to get paid what they're worth.

    When you post a job, you should state a price range, or that you want people from Phillipines.
