Launch of New Service/Joint Venture

I'm working on a product launch for mid February; its in the personal development side of things; I want to get out to interested parties and I would like to do some joint ventures with people who have large lists so I can start some 'pre-launch' information getting out. How do I find people who initially would like to do joint ventures with me as I dont have a list at all of my own. I've tried emailing some 'experts' in the field but didnt even get replies.

    Hi, as you have found, trying to JV with 'experts' can be difficult, especially if they are in the closed circle who operate within the IM products at click bank. They aren't interested in selling products which work, they only want to sell and recommend products which 'convert' in to $ for them. Even if your product would be good for their subscribers, you'll never see them them recommending something for zero commission.

    So when you are starting out it's going to be difficult, even if you have the best product of it's type you will need a hypey sales page to extract maximum $ from those on their lists.

    You could always try offering your system/course or part of it free for evalauation, or something along those lines just to get the ball rolling.

    If you can create a good enough product then I believe your time would be better spent targeting other methods, get a reputation for what you do and build on it.

    Spend the time you have now to build a list...do solo ads, PPC, article marketing, adswaps and start building your list. Then and only then do you have enough leverage to work with other JVs....

    Also, like Internet_Corporation said, focus on sales conversion Once you have that nailed down, it's alot easier to go to a JV partner and get their help.

    Another option is to write a short value-packed report and offer it to prospects in your market via squeeze page to build a list.

    Then do a mini-launch to your list to test response for the new product. Now you have hard conversion / EPC data you can show to prospective JVs.
