Thank you

There are quite a few warriors who do this.
Createspace has its own instructions which are easy to follow.

One Warrior I can recommend is Alan Petersen

You can see his current WSO here

I see that you're a War Room member, so I just thought I'd let you know that there is an excellent free report (for War Room members only) by Paul Coleman that details how to do this. In addition to that, he also gives some solid tips on how to market it effectively with Facebook.

Yes! The Paul Coleman one is the way to go. It's called Kindle Revolutions.

So far as I've seen Paul's stuff is all top rate.

When you go to the page Ryan suggests, do read the entire Terms Of Service. And be sure to follow their link in the TOS to the "Pricing Page."

It's a lengthy read written in legalese.

Careful, they don't appear to allow any advertising or advertising links in your ebook. It's in the TOS.

One thing no one is addressing is that when you sell on Amazon you can't collect the EMAIL ADDRESSES OF BUYERS.

Anyone else recognize this? You are then building their buyers' list not yours....

Exactly. This is why I mention my website in the book and PDF guide every now and then to try to capture leads this way...

That, is an easy thing to deal with.

Now think about this, if you're doing it ONLINE, not on the book, what would you do, if you want people to opt-in to your mailing list? "etical bribe"?

It's the exact same way in the offline world, you can almost cross-using the online method in the offline world.

Offer them something, maybe a BONUS cd or something else, that once they opt-in to your mailing list, they would be able to get it for free, only for those who bought that book?

I hope this is going to give you a basic idea on how things can be done even if they were "offline"... It's all about the marketing strategies...

Thanks but this is basic info. And with a xx,xxx list it's something I'm aware of.

What needs to be understood is tha the CONVERSION RATE from your amazon products to your OWN LIST is going to be MUCH LOWER THAN

        direct to consumer.

And there is only 24 hours in the day.

If someone had some data which said
"I generated 100 sales on amazon and 30 of those people opted into my list"....I'd be excited to see.....

This was partly answered by Aiden above - but there are ways to do it.

As Aiden says you can tell them about an offer on your website - and tehn when they come over to it you can capture their email that way. Or you can give them a free bonus, but to get it they have to sign up.

If you check out the Jason Fladlien webinar that was linked above - which is pretty cool btw - you'll head Jason say he has a bunch of books on Kindle. Out of curiosity I bought one - it was only a dollar - and what Jason does is use these Kindle books (they are reports, maybe 5-10 pages long) as lead generators.

In the back of the books he has a bunch of links which take you to various products that he has to sell.

So whilst you don't directly get people on your list - there are guys out there using Kindle books to build sales and traffic of their products.
Find out the guys doing it, and model their approach.

      HTH.

Ryan, I've got a copy of Keith Dougherty's Quad Cash Profit System. Not sure how you can get that because it's only available through his webinar, maybe you can subscribe to his list, and try that out.

It's the easiest way to do what you want, in my opinion, as he showed us LIVE, and how he done it within 10 minutes or so.

    Hope that helps.
