What Has Your Experience Been Like Using Google Knol To Make Money?

Have you had success? What has been key to your success? Thanks!

Strange, Knol seems to have been an abject failure. You would think there would be some value in using a Google property. I did like one article and lost interest. I think there's a nofollow link in it but I've never seen a Knol article rank, like EVER! Even Google don't believe in it?!

Who says you can't earn money as an eBay affiliate any more? My stats say otherwise

Use it just as another free article publishing sites online and you will see the benefits just as you can get from other article sites.

I will try it out now in a few days. Is there any news on the subject? Has anyone succeeded with Knol?

I wondered about this too, I thought knol would be huge since it's a google product. But you're right I've never seen a knol in any search I've ever done.

However I just looked at the homepage and an article about buttermilk pancakes was the top featured article. It shows 203,000 views since September 2009! So obviously it's working for some.

Their policy says that links in comments are nofollow and links for new authors are nofollow. But if you as an author reach 'trusted' status then the links in your articles become dofollow.
