Men knowledgeable or interested in their sexual health... need your advice on my site please

I've written a guide with a bunch of things a man can do to naturally improve his sexual potency... no pills or anything else, just using his body's untapped potential. I sell it on my website, and it's a .pdf available for download

I don't want you to think I'm trying to sell it to you... if you send me a PM with your e-mail address, I'll send you a free copy just to remove all doubt.

What I'm looking for is advice on how I can increase conversions

Some of the stuff that I promise in my guide might sound too good to be true for men who are not familiar with the tactics. But it all works. The testimonials are all true

I sell my guide for $39.95 right now, and I've sold a little over 2,000 so far (over the last couple of years) with very few requests for refunds.

I'm looking for advice on my sales copy, functionality, and sales points on my site.

This is my site: www.mistermanpower.net

As I said, all the testimonials are true, it is actually a valuable guide...

One thing I'm thinking... the price might sound a little too low... these people might be thinking, "hey, all of this for $39.95?... sounds fishy/or cheap"... I'm thinking of raising the price to $49.95... somewhere I heard they call it "reassuringly expensive"...

Any advice on how I can increase conversions? Advice on my sales points and copy would be especially interesting...

THANKS!

David

Best advice I can give is to split test.

How I went from an insecure weakling in bed
    to a Well-Hung Sex Machine
I see you used my testimonial

Really?? No offense, but I came up with that phrase on my own, well sort of... I received a watered down version of that title from a copywriter, and tweaked it myself, so I know I couldn;t have gotten it from anywhere

If so great minds think alike... if you don't mind me asking, where did you mention that testimonial to me?

            Sure.

I would go with a more simple approach similar to http://StopYourDivorce.com Just something to consider.

You'll never know without testing various aspects of your site, offer etc.

But here are my own thoughts.

Your OP here presented this in quite a "nice" way - a way that I suggest would appeal to a good number of red-blooded males.

So we click through to the site and BAM - we're hit with pictures of scantily clad girls and promises of being able to perform like a porn star.

I'm outta there pronto. PRONTO, I tell you!

In a nutshell, you're covering a topic that could be of interest to a large number of males but it's presented in a way that will turn most of them off (pun intended). Sure, you're going to get conversions but only from the people to whom that sort of site appeals. The majority of men don't fit that category and hence you're losing them from the get-go.

              They're my thoughts on it.

              Cheers,

              Neil

(Haha) Exactly. I think a more simple approach would work better. However, it's just a guess.

I'll just throw in, why limit yourself to a single site?

Create a couple of sites using different sales techniques and targeting different keyword.

Expand the virtual real estate of your product.

Start a blog and hire a writer to write 52 articles so you can update it once a week.

Better yet, start two blogs. One for mature men and the one for the rest of us. Now you need two sets of articles each with unique voice.

Spin that junk ad make it four blogs. Classy blog, sleazy blog etc...

Give all of your new sites equal SEO love and sit back and see which one perform the best.

Or get affiliates to do all of the work for you, retire to the beach and start dating a stripper.

And finally.... GO DOLPHINS! <--- this is actually the most important thing in this post.

I agree with what Jason said.

The same product (or a modified version of it) can often be sold to different groups of people. We've often talked about doing that on here - leveraging one-time effort to produce multiple streams of income.

    Cheers,

In my opinion...(your mileage may vary)

    • The colors, design, photos, and copy you are using seem to indicate that you are targeting two demographics - horny young men who feel inadequate, both college students and those who went to work right after high school; and the middle-aged man, probably blue collar, the kind that likes drinking Old English 800 (not that there is anything wrong with that, I like an 800 from time to time myself, it's like drinking a nice yeasty bread)
    • College age young men, whether they are in school or working, $40 is a lot of money. Expecially when as a society we are bombarded with Extense commercials on TV, and emails promising to enlarge our favorite body part.
    • For the middle aged blue collar worker, $40 is again, a lot of money.
    • Have your copy proofread, I noticed several instances of bad grammar and awkward wording.
So, I think your price doesn't match with the people you're targeting.

Right now I'm reading a book by Dan Kennedy title the No B.S. Marketing To The Affluent No Holds Barred Kick Butt Take No Prisoners Guide To Getting Really Rich.
In my opinion, everyone needs to read this book. It's a primer on targeting the right people the right way.

If you want to charge $40, you have to target people for whom $40 is nothing. Like selling an internet marketer a $7 report, we buy lots of those because we're information slaves and $7 is nothing.

    I would recommend -

    • Changing your price for your low end target audience. In this case, your website is fine, just the price seems to high.
    • You may want to establish a second website, one with more decorum. Perhaps establish it as a men's health site. Talk about health and sharing all their lives with their partners not just part of themselves, instead of getting laid. Make it a professional sounding site. Holistic. Maybe change the title of the report to something like Keeping and Improving Your Sexual Health.
    • Create a classy website. Check out other upscale health websites for ideas. Make it classy enough that a man wouldn't feel guilty getting caught looking at by his woman. Make it classy enough that woman would feel comfortable buying for her man.
With the upscale website, you could probably charge more than $40. $69.95 probably wouldn't be out of line. It's all about perceived value for the upscale customer.

But as I said, this just my two cents opinion.
