The Best IM Advice Ever...

INTERNET MARKETING

For me, it actually came from Winston Churchill: "Neva, neva, neva, give up."

So true. I haven't given up, and I've had success as a result. The same is true for everyone, regardless of what you do.

What's the best IM advice you've ever had given to you?

Sticking with Churchill ....

"Once in a while you will stumble upon the truth but most of us manage to pick ourselves up and hurry along as if nothing had happened."

I just think of this everytime someone disregards building a list or creating a product and adding a back-end ...

It's always the simple stuff and never the funky stuff.

Here's my all-time favorite: I'd rather die peacefully in my sleep, like grandpa, than screaming in terror, like the passengers in his car.

OK OK, here's my REAL favorite quote that I like for IM: "You've got to jump off cliffs all the time and build your wings on the way down." - Ray Bradbury

Advice is motivational - but only for so long, until you're looking for the next inpirational wisdom.

So, I dumped all efforts to take advice and follow the surest way to producing RESULTS.

How?

Signup right now to simpleology.com 101 (it's by Mark Joyner). And adopt that system into your life. Nothing compares to it in getting you into action every single day. Purposeful, consistent and useful action that moves you everyday.

Even Tony Robbins RPM (Rapid Planning Method) doesn't come close to it.

When working as a game designer a few years ago I'd often find co-workers talking about this game or that quest or it would be cool if you could do this is a game. While that is healthy conversation for designers to discuss from time to time, only one thing makes a game, actually "making" the game.

We printed up "MAKE GAME HAPPEN!" around the office, because all the cool ideas in the world are nothing without execution.

  Thanks

Well, the best advice I think I've come across that is totally appropriate for IM is Calvin Coolidge's quote -

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race”
