Please help!! Wordpress pictures

INTERNET MARKETING

Hello, i was just wondering how i make a picture on my homepage go to somewhere where i have wrriten about it... for example.. if it was a picture of a new football, i would want it to go to somewhere where there is an article or something about that new football..

Once you have inserted the picture, click on it once to select it.

In your toolbar, you'll see an icon that looks like a chain link. Click that.

A pop-up will appear asking where you want the link to point - enter the web site address (URL) of the page about football.

Choose the target from the drop down list - open in a new window or in the same window.

Click Update.

That will make the image "clickable" so when it is clicked the visitor will go to the football page.

  Basically, when ever i click on the picture from the home page, it just shows me the picture again in a seperate window, but i want it to go to part of my course ...

You can also just include the link when you upload your picture and then go to insert.

You will see link and you can insert your link there.

Then just insert as usual.

You open for edit exactly that post where you want your picture to appear. Then insert it as it was explained above.

There is no other way to "make a picture to go anywhere"!

Edit the post that the Football is in and then follow Garys advice or go here Using Images « WordPress Codex

  I have had a look at the demo for the breeze template and it sounds like you're referring to images in the gallery/portfolio. But they are still just posts, so you can edit them the same as any other post from your wp dashboard.
  
  However, the default for gallery images is usally just to 'pop out' the image. If you want to link it so it opens the actual post then you'll probably have to edit the php. Does your documentation that came with the theme explain how to do this? If not, is there a support forum where you can ask?
