How do you add Keywords to a website?

Hello i have watched many videos on how Keyword tools work, but i just dont get how it is they people actually use them?
I mean what do you do once you have your list of keywords?

    you include them in your blog posts

    you cans also use a program like the one in my sig to automatically make the posts for you.

    You write articles using your keywords and good keyword-rich content on your site or blog with them. Articles should be around 500 words long and the keywords should be mentioned several times throughout the article.

    Let's say I find that my 3 best keywords (searches/less competition) are:
    "Lose Belly Fat"
    "How to lose fat fast"
    "burn fat exercises"
    I would make 1 blog post article, each a separate category page.
    Use the term in your title, first line, and 1 or 2 times more.
    Use a wordpress seo plugin to make sure the words are in the title, heading, and description.
    Rinse and repeat.

    Eight places you can use keywords:
    1. In your site URL
    2. In your title tag
    3. In your blog post or article title
    4. In your blog post or article content
    5. In your blog post or article subheadings
    6. In the anchor text of your backlinks
    7. In your description tag
    8. In the ALT attribute of images on your site
