Best PPC Course

I personally would recommend PPC Classroom (PPC Classroom Brandable Affiliate Report) but unfortunately they have stopped accepting members for now.

I'm looking at joining them myself as I believe it is free and have left my details for them to get in touch with me once the next course opens up again.

For now, I'm reading Ultimate Guide To Google Adwords by Perry Marshall. You can buy it online from Amazon.com or you can go to his website at Perry Marshall.com for details.

Hey Lance.

I'd recommend 'Perry Marshall's Definitive Guide To AdWords' if you'll be doing PPC outside of the affiliate marketing arena.

For PPC affiliate marketing, PPC Classroom if and when it reopens.

Both worth every penny.

I found Perry Marshall's Google Adwords resources extremely useful when I began using and learning about Google Adwords almost 4 years ago and his Definitive Guide to Adwords is excellent and very cost effective.

It's an ebook and not a course as such but its very informative with lots of real world examples.

that is a good starting point, you should also look into perry marshall's adwords book.

PPC only gets better with time and experience, you need to constantly work on your skills, keyword selection, adcopy/copywriting, landing page, and conversions, set a daily budget that you can afford and give it a go.

I took a company's ppc that had 1 % ctr campaign wise to a healthy 6% now and it happened because I always worked on the elements that were mentioned, test test test!

The very best is "Pay Per Click Formula" by Gauher Chaundry...not sure what your "moderate" budget is, but this course is waaayyy undervalued at $700. And the reason why it's the best is because it teaches you to drive your PPC to CPA offers, where as most courses teach you to drive your PPC traffic to all kinds of affilite stuff. I'm telling you...suck it up. If you're serious about it, this is the course to get.

I love snowboarding and last Christmas a mate bought me a book - 'How To Do 100 Snowboard tricks' . It had no relevance because the only way to learn is by heading out to the hill, throwing it down and hurting yourself

I've always said the best place to learn PPC is from ...

'The School Of Hard Knocks'

Set aside a budget of say $500 and be prepared to lose it all. You'll learn a hell of a lot more about it by doing it than reading it.

Sure you have to try and test yourself, but it's not necessary to walk in blind. I think that's foolish advice.

Imagine you joined up to the army, and your officer turned around and said,

"Look, there ain't no point training you up. The only way to survive, is to learn to survive in the heat of the battle. Now off you go!"

It is very simple, get perrys book, go to the learning center and go over everything, then start your campaigns and set a small daily budget and start doing it. No book or course is going to give you instant success, its all based on experience and lots of testing that goes on daily if you are being serious about ppc.

That's how the successful ppc marketers have conducted their business, once you get the hang of things then it becomes much easier but the testing is the only real key to success in ppc.

I'm surprised so many people are recommending PPC Classroom because their reviews were pretty crappy in the review forum. PPC Coach on the other hand seemed to get great reviews from everyone. Pick up Perry Marshall's Dominate Adwords and get PPC Coach for support and you're off to the races.

I really liked Double Digit CTR by James Schramko. If you already understand the basics, then his course will give you the info you need to kick it up a notch. It is a great deal at less than $40. I learned more in one day then a year of trial and error.

Hi

It depends on your level of experience, if you are looking for a step by step guide to target narrow keywords I recommend Double Digit CTR by James Schramko.

There is some very good stuff in Affiliate Bully by Andre Chaperon which goes into more detail on pre-selling and tracking keywords.

I would say PPC Classroom's basic membership is aimed at new guys, they have 9 modules to start with, solid information but no surprises and I think they will focus more advanced material on their VIP membership which is $197 per month.

My friend who is a complete newbie liked Beating Adwords as it gave him a step by step guide although I don't think it goes into tracking keywords in much detail which is crucial.

I have a good handle on how to setup a campaign, and generate a basic keyword list.

What I really need to do is learn the most efficient ways to track, increase CTR, and advanced bidding strategies.

@Mike Benkovich: I love snowboarding too, but when I was learning I got a video, watched it, visualized it, compared it to surfing and skateboarding and went down the mountain pretty smoothly.

I have no problem failing, and failing quickly, but when it involves cash I'd rather invest $50-$2k in solid information and increase my profit margins, as well as decrease my lead time =)
