When I Was a Newbie Following This One Tip Would Have Helped Me Be Profitble From the Start

I always see threads come up asking people who've been doing this a while what they would've done differently if they started out again.

I saw the usual responses which were full of good advice so I never responded. Then I finally thought about it a few days ago and came up with the answer for myself.

It took me 4 years to consistently make money online. Most of this was because I was lazy but it also didn't help that right when I thought I was going to make it big I wouldn't.

I would make a decent chunk of change on a product launch but that was it.

The reason is because I was only selling "1" product. It's very hard to make a full-time income selling one product.

How many businesses only sell "1" product only?

If I would've listened to the people that said to create more than "1" product I would've been in good shape.

Every time you create a new product you give yourself an opportunity to increase your income.

You can release your new product to your list and survive just on those profits depending on how big or small they are for a few months (some more and some less).

Even if you're just doing affiliate marketing make sure you do whatever you can to promote other products to those people on your list.

I was surprised when I found one successful marketer had 20 different products they promoted on their list.

So if you're just starting out please make sure you create more than "1"product. You aren't going to get filthy rich 99% of the time off of just a single product.

Nowadays, with Adwords my first product I promote pays that Ad costs and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, products I promote to them over time are pure profit.

Treat it like a business and not a hobby and you'll see SUCCESS! Good Luck!

Totally agree with you in that having multiple products is the way forward.

Also, I am the same in that my adwords costs / costs generally of paying $1-2 per visitor are covered by the first week of sales. Then subseqent weeks, for LIFE if they subscribe (which is the aim) turn into profit... but yes, I guess essentially with just one product I would be really struggling to make profit... but with multiple (100s) it is no problem, I know I can sell over and over again.

I would say to total newbies; these products don't even have to be your own - if you can catch people into your newsletter then you can follow up with them as an affiliate for other related products each week all the same.... after a bit of testing you drop the offers which arnt working for you, improve the ones that are, look for new products to promote and test those... all the while giving gifts and free info which is actually helpful to your list to keep them happy and responsive.
