Not sure if I am being paranoid or not. I am thinking of outsourcing some article writing. Should I worry about writers stealing my niche?

    A little bit paranoid

I wouldn't worry about it, a good writer wouldn't steal your niche!

A writer will be writing about a lot of different niches from different clients, I don't think they'd concern themselves too much about each niche.

Just because I’m paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get me

Why are people announcing with such dogmatism and finality that concern about this is "definitely" being paranoid, rather than simply saying that they themselves haven't personally encountered it?

Clearly this sometimes goes on. I've actually had two clients to whom this had certainly previously happened with former writers, and one more who strongly suspected it had but didn't have proof. I suspect, myself, that this may be a little more common than is widely believed.

Worrying about that isn't just with articles. I always wondered how you find people to trust with outsourcing tasks for product creation or PPC campaigns, etc. You would think once a person figures out that their $8 an hour doing the bulk of the work compared to the $200,000 the boss makes they would try to "steal the system" and do it themselves or just quit.

I guess there are just honest people who are content with just having work and making some money.

If it was that easy, everybody would do it. Just because something comes (relatively) easy to you, it doesn't follow just anyone can steal your idea and make it work.

Most people just aren't that interested. All that thinking is a lot of hard work, and people hate to do things for which the payoff is uncertain.

If you hired someone who writes for a living - this isn't a concern that should worry you.

However, if you are hiring marketers writing to make a few bucks in order to build their own sites...I can see where it could happen. I doubt it happens outside the IM niche but could happen there.

But - niches have competition anyway. The only way you "own" a niche is if your site is dominating that niche. I'd say anyone who is writing for money and then stealing "niches" trying to make money....probably isn't much in the way of competition.

A little paranoid yes, but don't worry, we've all been there at some point when outsourcing work! I know I have! People become writers to do exactly that - write. They enjoy writing and it probably brings them a good income so I wouldn't worry at all, they're there to do their job and they will save you an awful lot of time which you can spend on other areas that do need and demand your time and attention.

I'm the one paranoid because you are paranoid. :p

There's nothing to worry about outsourcing article writing since most writers are out there not to build sites but just to fulfill the inner hunger of writing resting inside them. They just want to fulfill their passion and at the same time have a decent earning. So, there's nothing to worry about. If someone does steal your niche, then conscience would kill them big time.

    Cheers!

Now, if you post your niche here, we'll certainly help you with the articles... lol
    just kidding ...
The best way to succeed in article marketing is to outsource as soon as it's feasible for you.
