Got a link to any of your sites?

Even with autoblogs - if they look spammy and quickly cobbled together no ones going to stick around.

I've never been a fan of putting all your eggs in one basket. Splogging can be a great source of revenue but I don't think they are reliable enough to be counted on. In my opinion, you need other forms of revenue if you want to make a living at IM.

I think autoblogs are a waste of time and will end up being nothing more than spam in the end. Too many people are trying to worry about making money on autopilot and not enough about what people actually want.

Try building Amazon product websites that refer sales. Once you get these websites running, they require almost zero maintenance and will generate a nice monthly check for you.

You must be doing something wrong.

Is your niche keyword have enough traffic?
How is your blogs serp?
What do you use to monetize it?

I am not a big fan of autoblog but this was my result from 2 blogs, both ranked on first page of google.

Hours spent: 30+ on both site

I've seen some pretty good advice and ideas in this thread, and I have to throw in my two cents.

First of all, with autoblogs, you need to do your keyword research to come up with good keywords that will earn you some traffic to your site. Further though, you need to support your autoblog with some articles that speak about your niche and point back to your site for more info. You should also make sure you have Adsense and Amazon affiliate links and ads set up. But without traffic....its like a business having a sale that no one heard about.

I have to agree as well - this is just one area of IM. You should look to other areas for making money - like marketing your services on sites like Fiverr, Craigslist, etc. But also look in the Warriors Needed section right here in WF to find some jobs. Build your reputation and your own personal website, and you will sing a different tune.

PM me for other good ideas....Up until a month ago, I was just like you....now I am averaging about $100 a week - and looking to build up further from there.

Here is how i went from $0 a month to over $500

1) I got a mentor that could prove makes money online.

2) I did not leave his house until he showed me everything.

3) I paid him for the privilege for doing this.

4) I took action, and start making a little bit of money

5) The next month I bought in $500

The rest is history. Nowadays I bring in a lot more....and I am fulltime with all my sites.

So in the end all I really did was find someone successful and mimic what they were doing. I suggest you do the same.

im not making much, but i like to think of it as im learning how to make something.

if your not making anything yet than you are learning what not to do, yest still you made something.

better than alot can say about the internet. alot of people just buy something it doesn't work in 2 days and say that its useless

I think you are not alone in this topic , i believe the success ratio is not very high in this business. I am this business about 6 month and i am still not making any money . except the website that i bought . It is still making money but i dont know how long it will last because it is an auto blog , So i am here to wish you luck and bess myself too ,

Relax and take three deep breaths.

You're going through the normal growing pains that every IMer experiences. Those of us who have been at this a while have all been in your shoes at one point or another.

It's frustrating to try things and not have them work out, but if you are serious about making a steady online income, you've got to stick with it and keep trying different methods. Okay, so autoblogging isn't your thing.

Find something else that you feel you may be good at doing and give it a shot.

If you quit now, you'll never know if you can be successful at this. Who knows? The next project you try may be the one that makes you your first $50 online.

I hope you pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep learning and growing.

Are you following someone else's model, or are you winging it on your own? I would think that if your model was a good one, and you were following the instructions, you would be seeing more success. I'm not a fan of autoblogs, but it sounds to me like you should be seeing a better return on your investment of time at this point.

Focusing on one thing is good. You've probably learned a lot of things that aren't working for you. My best advice to you is to find a better model, and apply the concentration to that model that you applied to what you've been doing. I'm not necessarily talking about autoblogging, but rather anything that people are doing that gives better results.

Check out the WSO forum and look for something with lots of objective positive feedback. Contact the people who posted the feedback to see if they're still happy. A little research will go a long way.

We really appreciate that you've created a Warrior Forum account just to vent your frustrations. That's just what aspiring successful people need to pay attention to.

So, why don't you change what you're doing a little, then come back and tell everyone what you did that worked for you?

The learning curve on IM can be high, especially if you get "trapped" information overload and buying one product after the other without any clear direction or plan ( been there done that). Different models work for different people, it all depends on what appeals most to you and what you can easily master at your current level.

I have a few autoblogs, but I never "set them and forget them". I add my own touch to make them "semi-autoblogs" and I find my traffic is increasing. I am also an adsense fan, so I research low competition high paying adsense keywords and focus on those.

Most important though is finding a model you can stick to long-term. Building an online business is not an overnight thing. I have discovered that you got to be willing to do it slowly, as you learn gradually and stick with it for the longterm. Hope that helps.

to be honest, your failure and that of many others is most likely coming from not having a good solid foundation. You'll often times hear " Just look at all the great info on the WF","Ask questions..." and many other things like that. The reality of it all is if you don't know what you're looking for how can you use the info at your disposal? You can't.

My advice would be to look into Ken McCarthy's 'The System For Beginners".

It point's out how to set up a real IM business, what offers to promote, how to find them, how to test them and many other things that MANY IM projects fail at explaining.

Once you get good with that and you want to create your own products, check out Marlon Sanders product about creating your own product.It's only $17 and get that along with his The Amazing formula.

I would recommend staying away from autoblogging. There are numerous options when it comes to making money through internet marketing. I have a few ideas, but I want to follow the rules and not post any type of business advertisement within this discussion section.

Please stay calm and relax. Do not let your frustration lead you to give up. Many people stay on the sidelines and let life pass by. Don't keep thinking about what is going wrong. Take your desire to succeed, and your ability to learn, and channel this into learning about the various aspects of IM. You'll become a more knowledgeable marketer and this will give you numerous benefits both personally and professionally.

Well this would serve as an experience in IM, the less work we exert the less money we make (unless you're a pro).
