Has anyone tried advertising any CPA links on Twitter? How did it work out for you? I was thinking of buying one of those Fiverr packages where people have a million followers and sending some CPA links to them.

Do you think it would work? What is five bucks, right?

Jennifer, the key here is to test and test some more. It ultimately depends on the type of followers your Fiverr service provider has, and whether their interests and inclinations fit with the CPA offer that you'll be providing them with.

Very true. Very very true. I don't think I have that many $5 bills though.

I belong to a couple of CPA networks, but have never heard of this Fiverr service. Will look into it a bit further.

I'm going to take a stab in the dark and think you mean directly sending them to the page.

While this can work under certain circumstances, in my experience (take that how you will) it is far far better to send them to a incentivized content locked site.

You might think this is counter-intuitive since many people dislike clicking more than once to get to what they want, but done correctly, this is capable of a larger bottom line than direct linking.

A quick word of warning. Before spending your fives, make sure that the followers are real and not just dummy accounts set up by the seller of the service.

It's very simple to set up Twitter accounts, even hundreds of them.

      That does seem very counter-intuitive.

It's all about banking on trends - lets break it down:

METHOD 1 - DIRECT CPA LINKING
        • Find someone on Fiverr who has real followers and not bots
        • Get them to blast a link to your CPA deal that offers free whatever for an email submit
        • Make sure that the blast is timed to suit what you are after. If you want US traffic, go 6:30pm EST
        • Get a decent quantity of clicks, and potentially enough to make back your $5 for some moderate effort.
METHOD 2 - INCENTIVED CPA LINKING

        • Find someone on Fiverr who has real followers and not bots.
        • Go to twitter and check the latest trending topics within the country of your choice. Work out a way of promoting a page that would suit the trending topic
        • Create a quick and easy site that has a content locker on it
        • Get them to blast a link to your site/page/whatever that would be appealing to those interested in the trend.
        • Make sure the timezone is correct when he blasts (most will let you determine when)
        • Get a great quantity of clicks, and additional exposure when people retweet you - not to mention the extra clicks gained from people viewing the trending topic.
See how the latter, regardless of having more steps involved for both you and the traffic - works far better?

I wouldn't recommend using any of those Fiverr services.

    1. All of the "followers" might not be real people.
    2. People don't check their Twitter as much. (AKA you will receive little traffic, if any)
    3. What makes your offer stand out from the other 500 that the person is going to blast out?

It's just not worth trial and error (imo)

I did that a few weeks ago, payed someone on Fiverr and wasted $5. They had around 13,000 followers across 3 different accounts, they posted the link on their pages, 2 of them were twitter accounts and one was myspace i think.

It resulted in 0 conversions. Problem is, many of those followers won't even bother looking at their page because they follow so many other people, then there is the problem that most CPA offers only accept US traffic so that limits it further.

I asked them if they could tweet the offer to people and they said this wasn't allowed and they could risk getting their account banned which i don't think is the case.
