Thinking To Start An Image Hosting Site - I Need Your Advice

Hello guys,

I own several website and doing fairly good with my online marketing business, now I'm thinking to build a free image hosting site.

It's a bit of experiment though, I have doing a small research and found that image hosting site has huge visitors, so my main plan is to use the image hosting to drive traffic to my other site on the long term, so I'm not expecting a quick return with this site.

Is there any experienced member that have built and market this kind of site before? I need advice for good hosting that suit my needs, image hosting site need a huge space and bandwith so I must be selective to choose. I don;t want the host shut me down because of excessive bandwith usage.

And also what is your advice on the marketing method and monetization models? I don't think I can earn much from this site alone in the short term, but I think I can monetize it with ppc and cpm banners just to cover hosting expenses.

Ah yeah, I forget to tell you that I will build adult image hosting, not so porn type site, but entertaining enough to drive the traffic to my other entertainment site
