scared to try im marketing again

hi
I wanted to carry on with a thread I started earlier today but couldnt find it.
I had posted that I wanted to try IM again after failing miserably last year, I would love to have a job that isnt 9-5.
But all the information on the internet just gives me a headache, where do you start? I tried about 4 different products before.
Body building affiliate, I had no clicks and no sales but it cost me over £100, premature ejaculation affiliate ditto, and 2 others I cant remember after spending money on google ads, I even tried masking my URL and got banned from google. and it was all alot of hard work for nothing.
So I dont really want to do affiliate, I cant understand that if 100s are already selling the same product how you could too.
Is there any money in writting ebook? could I have the same problem.
I just need the correct way to go 1st time so I dont get knocked back, and give up.
I know there is hundreds of ways to make it on line, but it would good to hear from people who actually make a living. which program shall I buy etc.
all help appreciated

Go to the WSO forum, find a blueprint with a lot of positive replies, then ask some of those people if they are still happy with the model. Most people will be frank about their experience. Choose one model based on your research, follow that blueprint without deviating from the prescribed method, and stick to it.

My suggestion would be to stop focusing on making money. Do something you will like. I believe the best way to figure that out is to look at how you like to spend money online.

What are your habits as a consumer? Do you subscribe to a lot of email lists? Do you follow a lot of blogs? Are you frequently shopping Amazon, eBay, or Craigslist?

How you spend money is how people make money and if you do what you enjoy you will eventually succeed.

I'll give you the same suggestion that I give everyone, and that's to create your own product, build a subscriber list of fellow marketers/affiliates, become active in the community of your chosen product and in the community of fellow marketers. Just do the research and take it step by step.
Yes, this is actually how I feel as well. I really can't see it any other way.

I tried blueprint once, but this is where I got the affiliate advice, so I dont really want to try that again.
I think I would like to do my own ebook, or video series teaching hairdressing, how to open a salon.
Is there a good program that can teach me how to do my own product, how to check that it has enoug searches, or too much competition.
I think from what the experts are saying is dont concentrate on making money at the beginning, mainlt traffic. the main thing is I dont want to spend out much money, as this happened last time.
      thankyou all for your advice

I understand exactly where you are coming from. IM is a sword and a shield and if you are not careful you can indeed spend a lot of money and end up with zero ( or worse, end up in debt!).

If you want to write you own book about hairdressing, you can do two things.

        1. Go to Amazon and see what kinds of books are selling about hair dressing or hair care. That will give you good ideas for your book.
        2. Go to google adwords and type in the word hair dressing and see what results come up. You should be looking for high volume keywords that have low competition, which means you can rank for them easily.

If keyword research sounds too intimidating for you at this point, you may want to outsource it. But doing keyword research is essential for you to decide what topics will be most profitable for you in the hair dressing niche.

I would suggest you to pick just ONE blueprint that you think its right for you and stick with it. Information overload is very bad >.<

    Hey! Don't give up!

Sometimes people need to be reminded also that they need to write about things they like and know about. It really sucks trying to make money off of a website that you have no idea what to write about. If you go to bed at night wondering what your next article will be about, you may need to change your intentions. Build an empire from something you love and are very knowledgeable about then, get some sleep at night =)

I will tell you the same thing I tell everyone who doesn't really know where to start. Before you spend another dime on any product promising you overnight riches, spend the $37 for a WAR ROOM membership. You can find answers to all of your questions and more.

      best of luck,
      Justin

Don't be scared to try again; just go about it the right way. The only way to make money in the long run is via creating a responsive list! There are tons of ways to do this, but the easiest is by downloading a good PLR product and give it away for free. This will build your list fairly quickly and you will have a resource for all of your future marketing deals when you want to make money selling your own product or an affiliate product.

    To your success!

I know how it feels. I have been there. But finally I was able to change the situation. Here are the 3 main points which finally helped me to make a nice additionalmonthly income I can now comfortably live off.

    1. Find a good Blueprint and stick to it. And if I say stick to it, I mean develop some kind of tunnel vision. Don't look left don't look right. Stop reading general forums and reports for a while. If you need help or advise take advantage of the product specific forums.

    2. Stop buying products! Use free options. If the program or Blueprint is honest and real, it will provide suggestions for up sales, but it also will provide suggestions for free options. As soon as you start making money you can reinvest a certain percentage in new tools.

    3. Try to contribute. Create good and valuable content. Choose topics or niches you are really interested in. As soon as I started creating content about things I always wanted to know more about, my sales went up. And it's so much more fun.

Here are 2 Blueprints and programs I learned a lot from. If you follow either one you will start making money within the timeframe of approximately 4 months.

1.Dave Kelly's "Profit Loophole" and "Super Apprentice Program" (Specializes in Site Flipping)
    2. Mike Johnson's Auto Blog Blueprint. (Specializes in Auto Blogs)

A am not an affiliate with either of them, but I can say that both of these programs are absolutely BS free and created by real IMs with a high amount of work ethics.

Stay focused. You can do it!

    All the best for you,
    Anjo

You really don't have to spend money in the beginning. High competition niches are more difficult, but it can be done. I am in a very competitive niche, but have been pretty creative in terms of keyword research.

Take your Premature ejaculation for example. Huge competition, but if you were an average person how would you research that if you were having issues. Putting yourself in the buyers shoes is helpful.

Ejaculate too quick for example has 780 searches per month and zero competition.
Ejaculate too soon has 480 searches with little competition
At the risk of being x-rated cum too fast has 2900 per month with little competition.

I agree, though, find something you love and know and it will be so much easier, not to mention fun.

I understand your pain, but do some research for a product that does not have too much competition and create a product.

Join JV Giveaways, write articles and submit to directories and find other ways to build your list.

      Join a good forum.

Most of all try doing something that you know about and what you love.

      Good luck

    Hi
I know what you are going through, we have all experienced your pain in the beginning. It is so easy to get really frustrated in this industry. Don't give up, how much Internet Marketing Experience do you have? I personally think this is your first step, as knowledge is power, get yourself a good mentor, as it was when I got my first mentor that set me on the right path that it all came together for me.
    Wishing you all the best.

I appreciate all these practical tips.
I haven’t lost any money with Adwords but have an expensive hard drive full of systems/blueprints I purchased.
I’m ready now to focus on one system and not get distracted by the many new offers in my inbox.
Good luck novicewarrior and may you be successful.
