Posting Articles to Ezine AFTER Posting to your own Site? (and the X-Factor method)
He states that he never posts articles which include his website's main keyword/s to directories because he doesn't want the article itself to outrank his website in the SE's. He basically writes articles in unrelated niches and "backlinks" them to his site.
I've also read here in the forum many people saying it's important to post their articles to there own sites and get them indexed there first before posting to the article directories.
Maybe the difference is in that one strategy is purely looking for backlinks to increase PR while the other method is also looking for direct traffic from the directories?
I guess I'm wondering if anyone has had this "problem" of having their own articles which are posted in the directories outrank their website in the SERP's? And if so, is it really a bad thing?
Thanks for any input...
