I have some angela profile backlinks with other site indexed
what if i added a new site as a backlink in this indexed profiles ? it will counted as a backlink instantly ??

    I would think it wouldn't show as a backlink until the spiders crawl that page again - I think, I could be wrong though.

        Depends how useful Google thinks that page is, if it's a profile page, might take a month or longer.

        If you add it, and ping, and perhaps put a backlink back to the profile maybe a couple of days, but in saying that, none of us control Google, so your only going to be getting guesses, and perhaps the odd tip to help get it indexed faster.

        Personally i'd just build more backlinks else where, as the more backlinks you have to a site, the better.

        If your using profile backlinks, you probably could of done easily 5-10 profiles instead of making this thread, in the end, it's about using your limited time the best you can.

      Yes, this is correct. It won't count as a backlink until the spiders crawl again.

      If we had the info on how long that will take, we'd have part of Google algorithm. We don't have that. No one has that except Google and the other Search Engines. It's a guessing game and I'm not so sure pinging it is the answer. Here is what I said earlier:

      I'm not so sure we should be trying to force the links to be indexed. Everyone's SO worried about being "sandboxed" or "penalized" by Google, yet everyone's willing to fly a HUGE RED FLAG telling Google "hey, look! I just did a bunch of links for my website!"

      Now, I still don't think Google can prove it was US who did the linking so they're going to be careful about penalizing for this, but I don't understand the mindset. If folks are going to worry about being penalized, then why aren't they worried that FORCING their links to get indexed quickly is going to cause issues?
      I seriously don't understand why the SAME people who seem to be SO worried about being "sandboxed" or "penalized" are so quick to take some sort of action to get their links noticed by Google. :confused:

    Giving posts like "pleaseeeee" and "please guys
    i am wait your respose !!" is not going to get anyone to answer you any sooner... All it does is help add more one liner posts that have no value to the forum....

    That being said.... You should be able to ping the page, while there is no garuntee that it will bring the search engines crawling, it still holds a shot at bringing them.

    As for when the search engines crawl, for bigger sites like the WF (and most of what Angela offers in her packets) they are crawled almost every single day. Nobody know's for sure how often a website is crawled except for the owner themselves (and Google) seeing as how you would need to see the analytics and traffic stats in order to figure it out.
