Legit Cookie Stuffing

Hello,

Is it currently alright to do legit cookie stuffing on ClickBank. On my website I have a link that says "Click here to be redirected" and on the redirect page that takes them to the clickbank checkout page (I wanted to avoid the creators page) and on that redirect page it drops them a cookie.

Would this be legit? As im not exactly stuffing on my main website im stuffing on a redirect page that clearly states were they are being taken.

Or does anyone know any other way to link them directly to the checkout page without cookie stuffing?

ALSO Just made my first ever ClickBank commission about an hour ago. (£45)

Cookie stuffing is frowned upon at CB and that's pretty much the end of the story. Oh, and you are stuffing cookies and you are a cookie monster...

Definitely not. If Clickbank finds out you're doing that, it'll be the end of your account. It's one of the things they're inflexible about.

Linking directly to the checkout page is easy. The problems are (i) the lack of cookie (as you clearly know), and (ii) the fact that you need the vendor's permission (for obvious reasons) to do this, and some may not give it.

      Hi Alexa,

Actually, it is possible to link directly to the checkout page and drop a cookie...without resorting to cookie stuffing.

      Here's a demonstration:

...of course, as you say, you'd still need to get the owner's permission before doing this for real

    Supernoob,

Cookie stuffing is setting the cookie of items that the visitor didn't willingly THEMSELVES wish to go to and usually refers to setting SEVERAL! With clickbank this is ESPECIALLY bad, since their cookie is HUGE, and I don't even know if you COULD stuff it 100%. Trying to may cause cookies to be dropped and some may be LEGITIMATE. They could even AUTOMATE detection of cookie stuffing, so it might be a good idea to stay away from it.

Please remove it. Sooner or later clickbank will just ban your account. Cookie stuffing is illegal.
