Target Small! Can it be done?

Hi warriors

This is a method I have never tried, basically I want to do the following:

I want to target areas, such as my home town, which has no competition but high searches monthly. I want to write a little article about it and post it on a website and follow the adsense pattern etc.

I was just wondering, as these websites are such low competition, with some at only 200 searches monthly. Would it be possible to buy a standard domain, for example placesreviewxxxxx.com and use that as a blog, and for example do , the following. placesreviewxxxx.com/areakeyword

Would that work for low competition or would I need a domainf or each? Nerver tried this approach before.

    • I dont really want to have millions of sub domains floating around. Is there a plugin on wordpress to create subdomains off a url, without creating a new website each time. Also do you think www.sitename.com/keyword could work?

  • Domains are only $10, I'd buy whichever ones are available as you go. Also, you have a huge possible upside in selling these sites to brick and mortar businesses in your area (domain only or website ubilt). Just an idea.

    • I already create SEO websites for local businesses, my plan is not to make a huge article, just 300-500 words for each small niche keyword, and contain them all on one website, do you think it could work?
