INTERNET MARKETING

Everyone wants comments. I feel comments make blogging worth it. They make me happy when someone comes along and says something as simple as 'Thanks'. It makes all the difference.

Some ways to get comments are:

Ask A Question

Be Controversial

Provide Value

Openly Ask For Comments

Those are some simple things to do to get more comments.

But...

I am sure you might do other things to get comments.

What do you do to get comments?

Also do you feel the niche you are in affects comments?

I try to mix asking questions and add a little controversy. Not too much I don't want to start arguments on the site..

I've definitely found that just asking people for their opinion is a great way to increase the amount of comments you get. There are still a lot of people that are unfamiliar with blogging and sometimes, they need to know that if they scroll down, they'll be able to leave a comment with a question or suggestion, or to respond to a question they are asking.

Now I never assume that people know they can leave comments. I intentionally let them know and ask them for their input, and it has made the world of difference.

Questions are the best way to get comments in Blogs. As a trick I focus blog owner points than user comments.

install the commentluv and keyword luv plugin.. of course there will be people commenting just for the sake of backlinks, but smart SEOs will come and read your blog and leave a meaningful comment..because they know the value of a good backlink that sticks.

Use the top commenter plugin, loads of people search to put comments on sites that have it installed.
