Question on Clickbank Product

So i found a clickbank product i want to promote because i did some research and believe that it doesn't have that much competition. The gravity on this particular gravity product is just over 9. Is this product worth promoting? I dont wont to get caught up into something that wont sell. So what do you guys think? Gravity with a 9 worth promoting at all? Thanks.

The only real answer is to test it, if it sales, then it sales, if it doesn't then quit trying to promoting it. Here's a tip, is there any other products that are similar to that product listed in clickbank, if so, then it might be worth giving it a try.

I would say, test it. It can't hurt anything.

Market it like how you know or pick another product which have a higher gravity to work at it

It also depends on the trust your list members have on you and the relation between you and the list members. You just can sell any product if you have a good relationship with your list members.

Yes going by the rule gravity score of less than 30 is not great.

    Thank you.

Do you think it would sell?

Some of the best products I have found have had a low gravity. Put yourself in the mindsest of the consumer and ask yourself if it's a product YOU would buy.

If you think so then I say go for it!

Be careful of all the products with a super high gravity... There might be too much competition.

Or they might just have a huge JV list...

Just cause something has a low gravity doesn't mean it's a bad product...

    FORGET ABOUT GRAVITY.

So many new marketers get hung up on gravity. Its a myth, its been busted, and it does my head in to think people still use it as an indicative measure.

There certainly is too much emphasis put on the gravity, it doesn't show how the sales are made by the marketers.

I have always found it is far better to test the market first with the following.

check out whether information of a similar nature is being sold at amazon for example.
check see if there are PPC adds for the niche, often a good sign that money can be made.
I'm not sure if you are running any niche/keyword research software, but if you are then you can check the commercial intent on some keywords in the niche, to check if people are buying.

If you have a list in that niche and they trust your recommendations then you will obviously have no problem making sales, if not then test the market and go for it...

        All the best....Peter

Is there a hungry crowd waiting to buy the product?
Does it solve any specific problem of a group of people?

If YES is the answer then proceed.

Make sure you personally review it before promoting.

    Hope it helps

You can't tell this from the gravity.

As an affiliate currently actively promoting 16/17 Clickbank products, the gravities of my two best-selling, highest-converting products are both quite a bit lower than 9 (and actually that's always been more or less so, for me, over the last 2 years - not always the same products, though: I've just done far better, overall, with products with gravities in single figures).

If it helps you at all, my own little "checklist" of criteria for selecting Clickbank products to promote, which many people seem to find useful, is in this post.

Above all, don't assume that higher gravity products are selling more copies, will convert your traffic any more easily, or are better to promote.

I'd be having a good look at that one, too. Even if you start on the other one, it's always good to have a second product to sell to your list, add to your site, and so on. Especially if it's in a different price-range.

Without knowing the product, we really can't tell to be honest with you, just try it and see what happens, that's probably the best way to go about it to be honest.
