Preparation Or Checklist For a New Blog

Hi Awesome WFM's.

I was wondering if you could provide the Preparation List or Checklist before and after opening a Blog.

e.g:

Before:

Niche Selection. Tick
Domain. Tick
Submit Blog. etc etc

After:
Blog is Indexed.
Facebook Fan Page is working
Twitter Account is set. Etc etc.

    For niche blog:


    Niche research
    Keyword research
    Domain
    Blog set up + theme + plugins
    1st blog post + bookmarking + RSS feeds
    (next 2-3 days) build backlinks (Web 2.0, articles, document sharing, videos (submit to all 50+ video sites)
    2nd blog post + bookmarking + RSS feeds
    (next 2-3 days) build backlinks (same again here)
    3rd blog post + bookmarking + RSS feeds
    (next 2-3 days) build backlinks (same again here)

    After week or 2 you should be able to see what is ranked and where. Then either improve or write another blog post. No point starting another post if you old post isn't ranked high enough to bring you traffic.

      Sometimes you can waste a lot of time to try to rank well and get nothing...

      What do you mean? Bookmarking is where you submit your site/blog post to social bookmarking sites. And same is RSS feeds. You submit your site RSS feed...
