I love your product and I have learned so much from it, but it is not for me, so I am asking for a refund.
I wonder how a college would feel if a student went to the admissions office with that line.

That's really funny. The person LOVED the product, learned a lot, and then requested a refund? This makes me wonder about that saying " the customer is always right". Not when they are trying to beat the system and outsmart the seller!

      Darla,
If EBR's products are anything like mine, and I suspect they are, what the refunder actually means is...

"Wow, there's some great stuff in there that I'm sure would make me a lot of money if I did it, but I was actually looking for the book that will make me a lot of money without having to do all the work."

I like the "no good deed goes unpunished" variation, where you let someone beg and plead their way into something at a lower price up front, with the solemn promise to pay the rest in exactly ______ days. I fell for that one once or twice, being a nice guy (re: pushover). Of course they were never heard from again. Lesson learned. LOL

I like the variation to that one where it's not the not for me line, it's the actual I didn't think it would take so much work, or I spent money I shouldn't have, or it won't work for me (how do you know if you haven't tried it?)

Refunds are just a cost of doing business....As long as you find your refund percentage not rising over time, you're fine!

I've learnt with all my big sales that people have to put their address in, and will be sent a physical product in addition.

Also, I like to put in clauses like 'will give you a 300% refund' then in the fine print 'proof of method implementation and lack of profits required'.

Works like a charm, every time - I very very very rarely get a refund request.

I'm amazed anyone would refund Brian's products, he overdelivers every time.

EBR, they wouldn't feel anything... well, except maybe some consternation!

As it happens, we live in a society were a high percentage of individuals genuinely expect to become wealthy with little to no work at all and when it doesn't happen as they DREAMED and FANTASIZED; many of them feel they have a right to redeem what little efforts they did put in.

That's why the college grad from Monroe College, who walked away from her Alma Mater with a undergraduate IT degree sued her school.

Who sues their Alma Mate...? After graduating from said Alma Mater?

She claimed and I'm paraphrasing [very loosely]...

I love my Alma Mater and I have learned so much from it, but it was obviously not right for me and since they denied my request for a full refund, I am now suing them! I am suing them for over delivering and helping me obtain my undergraduate IT degree but not helping me find the perfect job I wanted in the process. As a school, they should have known my demands once I graduated. I demanded that the perfect job fall into my lap that suited all of my needs, desires and wants... with little to no effort and since that didn't happen, screw them, I WANT MY MONEY BACK! All my Alma Mater is and all they will ever be is a friggin worthless college institute of higher learning that has helped countless students graduate and obtain great careers prior to my arrival and since I have left, BUT they did NOTHING for me; therefore obviously my ALMA MATER sucks.
The Dean of Monroe College, the Alumni, staff and students had to get a kick out of this work of art suing her Alma Mater.

So maybe the person who sent you the refund request, graduated from Monroe, sued them for nonfeasance and then decided to see if your course could pass their rigid standards.

        Maybe the person was English!

Because I know when I complain about anything, I tend to dress it up with a compliment, a sort of apologetic refund.

Then again maybe they are just pushing there luck...

This is the reason I hate using clickbank. I know CB has to offer a 60 day refund period but that's only because their merchant requires this or they would be out of business.

People like the guy in the OP are perpetual losers and will never amount to anything.

Making money on autopilot does NOT EXIST. You will always have to put some work into your business or you are guaranteed to fail.
