hi,

just wondering what is the fastest way to get quality youtube views after you have done all the right optimization for the vid?

link wheel?
comments?
post out to subscribers( if you have any)?
Drive a quick 5000 untargeted views to help with rankings?
Obviously your keyword and description have to be targeted right...

what are some of the techniques you use to help a new video in a very competitive niche?

I have never done it, but I know there are a lot of people that pay for the views. I used to be a member of a site that paid people to click on you tube videos, but I can't remember the name of it, and I don't know if it helped in the long run or not.

I pay for Stumbleupon traffic and send it to my Youtube video.

Its the fastest legitimate way to get interested, quality visitors to your video in my opinion.

  Use an automated video submission tool. You wont just get views on youtube, but you will get a lot of views.

  I can tell you something from my experience of trying to promote a friends video. What I found was a site that worked like a traffic exchange for youtube. I would NOT recommend it, though.
  
  What happens if you just send random people to that video is that youtube totally fails at classifying which videos are related to it. So it will show up next to music videos, cat videos, nutshot videos etc...
  
  I don't think that this is so great since youtube relates it to the wrong keywords and shows it at the wrong places. All that I know is that relevancy matters and you won't achieve it that way.
  
  So what you need is a way to show it to the relevant people... Maybe there is a way through youtube advertising. I'm not an expert in that topic, though.

optimize it and make the subject connected and tagged to something hot in the news

eg last xmas zhu zhu pets were the hottest toy and in the news so then you make a video with zhu zhu pets running around your office or whatever you are pitching

post on social networking sites such as facebook/twitter/linkedin/myspace, blogs etc use tube mogul and it will distribute all over the net for you.

StumbleUpon can help get a quick burst of views also if you comment (but not spam comment) on other popular YouTube videos, you'd be surprised how many people will click-through to your channel and then watch some of your videos...at the end of the day, if you want more views create (or pay for someone to make) good videos.
