Hi guys. I was thinking if I spin one article well enough and create like 100 versions i could just submit them to the same directory in lest time than it would take me to write 100 articles. what do you guys think. would this work for backlinks?

I'm sure you aren't planning to submit all those spun versions to one article directory using one author account? And, I'm sure you aren't planning to submit those spun versions to the same article directory, one after the other, after every x minutes or hours? And, I'm sure you aren't planning to point the resource box links of all your spun versions to the same pages of your website?

    I think it's a bit underhanded

Outside of that though, if you spaced them out over enough of a timeframe it is possible it could work.

That is an incredibly bad idea!!! If the directory has so few standards that it accepts those submissions, it won't have any link value. And if it does have standards - like ezinearticles or articlesbase - then you will get yourself banned in a hurry.

That would be what we call in the industry as SPAM!

But let's say you pulled it off because you spent the time, energy and laborious effort to engage in nested spinning on a minimum of two levels, possibly even three levels to make your article at least 90% unique or better and of course 100% readable and 100% comprehensible and then submitted said SPUN articles, all to one article directory, now what?

Now you have got 101 BLs from the exact same Class C IP address.

This doesn't sound like a very good idea to me.

First off, ezinearticles would probably catch on and ban your account as would probably most of the better directories so you would be left with submitting to places that have very little link juice.

Secondly, if you keep linking to the same page from the same domain, the juice is diminished so you wont be gaining that much anyway. Maybe if you are linking to different pages on your site, it would work a bit better.

You would probably be better off writing 1 really great article and submitting it to ezinearticles. Hopefully that article would get picked up by other webmasters and distributed on their sites, thus giving you more powerful (in content) backlinks from a variety of ip addresses.

This is indeed a bad Idea to create 100 versions and submit them to same directory. You should better submit those articles to different article directories and web 2.0 websites. Make sure to link your websites and related articles as well.

You've just answered the popular question why it's better to forget that there's anything like "spinning" and write a new article every time instead.

Vogin, we still spin and always will; we just don't deploy that tactics the OP is considering. Just so you know, when done right, spinning works like a charm.

over how much time are you doing this? it doesn't sound like you are adding to the internet by resubmitting the same article 100 times who wants to read the same article 100 times at the same web site?

you should not depend on one site to give you links anyway, what if they shut down or ban you? you'll lose all the links you built and 100 links isn't typically a lot anyway.

I wouldn't submit all 100 at once, but one a month would be fine. You'll have a stream of articles then but it requires more patience, but better that than being banned.

Think of it this way: 30 spin ready articles = 1 automatic or semi-automatic submission per day and no further effort.

It amuses me how much people are against using a tool to spin articles, but are happy to rewrite material already on the internet (research + rewrite) with nothing new or original just to get their slice of the traffic.
