Possibly by sending "incentivized/paid-to-click traffic" to it, one way or another, as so many people do. (If her account is shortly closed down by EZA, that will almost undoubtedly be the reason).

Don't assume just from the viewing figures that it's a good (or a successful) article.

(I see the author is a "platinum author" but with only 3 live articles, which shows that it's a pen-name attached to another account.)

I don't think EZA's stats are completely accurate right now, not sure if it's a temporary problem, but there is definitely a stat problem with them. One of my articles has a 2,448.4% click rate which is ridiculous!

Oooohhh let me check mine... They seem to be okay right now - maybe it was like that earlier, not sure about that. Anyway, nothing like that of any sort right now.

Number of views like that is achieved by sending traffic and incentive viewing through places like Mechanical Turk and the like. You pay $0.01-$0.05 for each view and they have to stay on the page for some time. Many people do this to get there EZA popularity up and get more traffic and backlinks.

What does Expert Author status give? I write under a pen name and somehow got Expert Author status in an embarassingly low, er, 2 articles.

...Must be a clerical error! I don't put this result down to superlative writing, sadly
Checking on Expert Author by no of articles written there are a lot on one article submitted, so apologies if I have got the wrong end of the stick!

You get "expert author" status after just one approved article so really it means nothing. At least that's how it was when I first joined a long time ago (2005).

      FROM EZA Website
I am an Expert Author but I still only have XX submissions?

Expert Status has no bearing on the number of articles a member can submit. The number of articles you are allowed to submit is based on your Membership level (Basic, Basic-Plus or Platinum Unlimited)

So, basically even you become an "Expert Author" once you have an article approved on EZA (Even one).

        Hey Everyone

I have only just started article marketing and found this discussion very interesting.

So I guess people pay to get more views so that they shown up in the most viewed category then, it's simply for more exposure yes?

        Thanks Alex.

          Two things:-

          (i) People do it because the "most viewed" listings get backlinks on higher-ranked pages than just the normal article pages ... and ...

(ii) Sending "paid traffic" to boost your viewing figure artificially, to achieve that, is expressly prohibited by EZA and it's one of the things they really do close down accounts for.
