Marketing nationally to offline business

Hey Guys

How's your weather? The snow's ground eveything to a halt here in beautiful Scotland.

Anyway, a quick question for warriors who market to offline businesses.

If you had a business service that runs online and is targeted nationally at small to medium sized offline businesses, how would you do it without breaking the bank?

I'm referring here to offline marketing methods, not the usual online methods. And I'm referring to reaching far and wide within a country's borders, not pushing leaflets through local doors or calling them up one by one.

Thanks guys. All ideas welcome!

Cheers,

Neil

Writing articles in targeted trade magazines works very well. Many offline companies still source through offline media.

    Thanks Paul.

    I like that one.

I noticed recently that a well-known Internet Marketer had written an article in the free Costco magazine. I wonder how he got that gig. Maybe you just need to ask!

Depends what your specialty is. Is there a chance to get radio interviews or interviewed by the media?

Can you give talks to local service groups across the country?

It doesn't hurt to ask! Just as with many online sites and ezines, offline publishers are always looking for good content. Some of them will even pay you for articles, but getting your byline and a link is priceless.
