My plan of action

first and foremost I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who replied to my first thread. What a lovely bunch of people you are
Anyway, as I'm starting from scratch - for the full story read my first thread-titled- Just when thought I was getting there. Sorry but I can't post any links as I have not made enough posts.
Im going to start with a hobby of mine. Having done a bit of research I know it's quite competitve but this the only one I can think of right now and I'm very passionate about it. It is trading the forex exchange. I have been doing it for years and I still know a lot despite the memory loss I incurred. Now here's the good thing, I'm very good friends with a chap who used to trade on Wall street, he's one of the best traders I have come know over the years. We have come to an agreement that I would market his website and he would be in charge of a live trading room. I would get a 25% cut for everyone I signed up for the live trading room after the initial 7 day trial period.
Now this is where I become a bit lost. We are unsure as to how we can track customers who I have referred. At the moment the only way I can think of doing it is by making people email me if they show an interest in joining the room. I then collect their names, order # from paypal and then passing that onto my mate. If they are still there after the initial 7 day trial, he deposits money into my paypal account.
Anyway, Im sure there's a simpler and more automated way of doing it than this, I just haven't come across it yet! I guess this is where you wonderful people come into the picture
So any ideas would be much appreciated.
