SCAMMED. Gutted. (I think?)

Well, as you have physical addresses, that's a good start. Doesn't sound, from your description, as though it is the typical behaviour of a scammer. I mean why so much help so far, and you say it's coaching that is already working. So why 'escape' now?

Sounds to me as though there may be a good reason for his absence. But then I always tend to look on the bright side!

Yeah I try to keep a positive attitude it always works out in my favor!

He's probably loaded his plate too full and is realizing that he's over-booked his time.

You need to confront him about this and ask if he intends to carry through on his end of the deal, or if you should pursue the matter through other means.

You can get a physical address by checking the domain owner through internic. If its a hosting company, you can still get access to their account holder (your guy) through proper legal channels.

Hopefully he will show up again soon and continue - you did say that his tuition was working!

why not just go forward alone?.. what exceptional talent does he bring to this deal that you really need now?...

Do you have enough control of the real estate/sites etc to continue alone?... if so I would move along at high speed...

Maybe you could find someone else to go forward with..

Some people who are brilliant Internet Marketers have tunnel vision and they will drop off the face of the Earth for a couple weeks at a time because they are consumed by something else. At least that's what I've found when writing for them.

There's been a couple times I've been owed payment and haven't heard from the person in over two weeks. But then they show-up, apologize for not getting back to me sooner, and then they pay me right away.

Perhaps this is what's happening now?

It seems I've been totally had by a well known scammer...a dick s##ker who's had a lot of other Warriors money in the past too.

He isnt, to my knowledge, a member any longer so it doesnt effect the community.

It sucks when people get scammed but a simple search and a little sense goes a long way.

I feel so shattered from this guy. I will survive, but it has really knocked me sideways...this is not your usual obvious scam. I've never fallen for a scam before and this guy pulled me in like a laser beam. Here's what happened:

I get an email from him, as I was on his list. His pen name is now Richard Earl.

He sends an email offering coaching for a new project and spaces are limited. The deal is that he takes an upfront smaller payment (which is much smaller that some typical coaching programs) and in return, you pay him 30% of the profits earned for the first 12 months.

Sounds pretty reasonable.

He then sends over the contract and we both sign. I see his business website and contact details etc. I verify them by calling his office and got through to an answering machine (should have known right there and then).

So, we get started.

He goes into detail about what to do and the entire strategy for doing it. Now, I'm not a newbie so when he explained it I was already planning to do something similar in another market...so it all seemed pretty smart and legit.

Weeks went on and I got really involved in the coaching and the project.

I've actually got some potential JV's and the start of a product, plus a good platform to launch it...

He then offered to transfer another site that was already established and the same 30/70 split would apply PROVIDING I follow his advice.

At this point, I had the cash spare and went for it. Again, another contract was agreed (and read carefully).

This was where he disappeared. No more email replies, nothing.

I am so annoyed as I worked my asse off to get things running and it was going really well.

I don't think it was a total waste of money, as if I can get some good advice on finishing off the product and launching it, I may stand to do very well anyway.

I am still shocked that I got tangled up in this criminals pathetic little world...I never thought I would ever fall victim to such scams.

But I have to say, this guy is convincing. In fact, he writes and operates in such a way you don't even think about questioning anything.

Time to start recouping my losses...hopefully Paypal will decide to get my money back from this idiot unlike previous people's attempts.

What a shame... It's awful when people are so nasty. We are all trying to make it. Why do some people have to make it even more difficult for others... ?

I agree, Anbelle. If the guy didn't want to do the coaching, he shouldn't have offered it. Why get money for scamming people? What...is he looking for a short term income? Myself, I'd like a long term income by offering true value to my customers and keeping them happy.
