Aiming for $1,000/day is attainable, but it will take some time to get to that point.

You would probably move up to the 8.25% bracket, which would cut that figure in half, but it would still be extremely difficult.

Start off small.
Make DAILY goals.


I would recommend buying 1 product in the WSO section that specifically lays out a step by step method. Make sure this product has good reviews and is in your price range.

Follow the guide to a T and start building from there.

Not a pipe dream at all. Amazon dors billions in sales every year. You just need a small percentage of sales to get to 1k a day. I'm not saying it's easy but it is definitely doable within a couple of years.

Well, there's no way around getting a domain name - the article directories require a top-level domain name, so a product affiliate link will not be accepted. What I suggest using is .info domains if money is tight, as they're only 99 cents each at Godaddy. Even if you were to target multiple niches and use 10 domains, your total cost would only be around $10 to pick up the .info domains, so this is pretty inexpensive.

In fact, to begin with I'd just aim for my first dollar online. Making just one buck online proves that money can and will come in; after that, it's just a question of scaling up.

Yeah, these are really step by step to make money online consistently. Join a valuable IM course. It will help you to get money faster.

Saw your post. I can only tell you what worked for me. I tried the affiliate stuff with Amazon but I did not like it because it was too boring for me. I would spend hours per day posting affiliate links all over the internet. Still do this but I don't do it as often. I look at it as an addition to whatever it is I make. I do agree with some of the others that have told you to create your own product. Create something that you enjoy. If you do this you can not only make money but have fun doing it.

I sell small stuff on the internet using facebook as a marketing tool - everything from Tshirts to some rather silly stuff. I saw on TV once how that guy who sold the "bubba teeth" was a millionaire. I took inspiration from his story and decided to do it myself. The secret is to find that one product that people want.

This is the most important piece of advice I've seen so far for someone starting from scratch. Look at FIVERR, FOURERR, ODESK, etc...and see what services you can offer based on your interests and abilities. There are even sites that pay you for downloading apps to your cell-phone now. Use this money to reinvest in your technical and / or sales education. Don't go into debt buying info-products or enacting strategies if you can help it.

Let's see....

1) Create your own products(e-books,reports,video products etc).
You can make a lot of money selling ebooks!
Try to find "desperate" niches or micro-niches and provide REAL solutions to people's problems.
You can sell them through your websites/minisites or through ebook marketplaces like Clickbank,Tradebit and e-library.

2) You can create your own website and put Google ads on your web pages. Some people are making 6 figures with one website. If you set up several web sites, then you can be able to make 6 figures too. Drive traffic to your website with social bookmarking sites like Myspace, Facebook and Twitter

3) Learn Photoshop and create eye-catching minisites with Private Label Rights and sell them via your website or on Flippa or buying existing minisites with psd files and PLR,change them with your own graphics and resell them on Flippa!
Or in general create and sell graphics!This is HOT!

4) You can start an Ebay business. I think Ebay,still today, offer the opportunity to make BIG money online and develop a million dollar business!

5) Start your own PLR business! Sell high quality PLR articles(completely original) in a great variety of niches through your website!


...and there are many other ways to make money online!
Possibilities are really endless!
Maybe you will not make $1000 a day...but with those methods you could really make BIG money!

There are many ways you can do this.

However, likely the surest is to create your own products.

You will find several product creation WSO's on the forum.

Then start amassing your lists of affiliates and buyers.

Keep repeating the process of create product, get affiliates, sell product, build buyer and affiliate lists until you've reached your goal.

Don't let anyone tell you that $1,000 per day is not possible or any other horse puckey prior to Penguin myself and many others were doing quite a bit more than that. You can do it. Because can't simply means don't want to bad enough.

If I could make $7000 per week, $364,000 per annum, would I be hanging around here? As much as I love everyone here, nah, I'd be relaxing in Hawaii!

Do you have any idea about what market/niche you'd like to target? Before creating a product, I would personally ensure that I did the research necessary to know that there is, in fact, a market for my product....

I read through the responses here and I am not going to post a huge essay stating my opinion...all I will say is this:

What value are you going to deliver to your customers? What problem are you going to solve for them? How are you going to improve their life? How are you going to remove some form of pain from their life?

It seems like a lot of people are focused on the actual process i.e Write an eBook, build a product review site, build a list. That's all fine and dandy, but in my mind, those are all secondary concerns.

You don't make money by building a list, building a site, or writing an eBook...you make money by delivering value, solving problems, and actually helping people. Once you get that part figured out, everything else becomes easy (relatively speaking of course - it is still really hard work, takes time, and knowledge, but you get what I am trying to say.)

Here's an example...

It's spring here. I look out my window and see people working on their lawns. Cool story, right. Review some lawn mowers on Amazon, post up a site, SEO and wait to make $1000 per day, right?

Maybe. Sounds a little elementary to me, though.

How about something like this...

Start building an audience of people who like taking care of their lawn. Learn everything you can about lawns. Get a short report written on "Top lawn care tips" start building a list.

At the same time, start building a blog about lawn care. Put up some adsense to start. (Self Hosted Wordpress)

Build a database of other sites where people go and look for lawn care information. Offer to do some guest posting to get a link and byline back to your site. Offer to send out a small solo mailing to the email list you are building.

Think of some more "short reports" you can write - "Common lawn care mistakes", "How to seed your lawn". etc. Keep building list.

Join a lawn care forum. If you can't find one, get one started (buy a vbulletin license, promote it to your list, introduce it to your "lawn care website database", etc) Make it part of your blog.

Start posting some lawn care product reviews on your blog, but don't make it the focus of your blog. (Lawnmowers, lawn seed, fertilizer, etc)

By now, you should have a little money coming in. Hire a designer to create a nice theme for your blog/forum.

As more money comes in, keep on posting new content that solves actual problems, not just $5/500 word type content. Hire a few writers if you have the income coming in.

Get a cheap video camera. Purchase some of the cheaper products you are reviewing off amazon and make a personal video review. When you are done with the product, resell it on Craigslist, eBay, or to someone local to recoup the cost. (I.E buy a lawnmover, do a detailed video review, take photos, write up, etc. Then, sell it for even 50% or 60% of what you paid for it. Explain your whole situation to the potential buyer and it should be a pretty easy sale...make sure you get the lawnmower buyer to sign up for your email list and introduce them to your website, forum, etc)

You are now a lawn care expert. Time to write an eBook. You already have a massive audience, so it won't be that hard to get it out infront of qualified prospects.

Taking care of your lawn can be a pain in the a** though - it may be better to get someone else to do it for you. Write some articles on this issue so your audience understands this as well. Find some local lawn care and landscape businesses and offer them the chance to advertise to your audience. Even do lead gen if that is your thing. Write a report on, "How to choose the best lawn care company", continue building list. If you find an opportunity, start your own small lawn care business. (Since you already have an audience and lots of data, you will know there is a hungry market for it...low start up costs, etc)

A lawn is boring without flowers. People like flowers. You should sell flowers. You should sell books on flowers. You should sell pictures of nice flowers that people can hang on their wall. Flower print towels. Build a spin off site for flowers and gardening using the whole process above.

I am just rambling on here, but hopefully you get what I am trying to say. Just because this is the internet, some people think normal business practices don't apply. They want to put up some pages, drive massive traffic, and as long as the pages convert, they will make money. Maybe.

But why not start online, build a solid business that is scaleable, deliver massive value, eventually bridge into the offline world and make more money than you thought possible. $1,000 per day? Build an actual business and you will be spending more than that on people writing content for you.

Or, you could just build a review site, send your traffic to Amazon, get your 8% and hope it all works out.

I did this in my first 2 months online - and I am far from a master of the internet (this was back in 2007).

It was purely adwords driven, on a hot new product, which at the time got a big press release in written print.

One product - not mine.

So to blow the misconceptions here:

Do you need to be an internet guru?

No.

Do you need to have your own product?

No.

Do you need some money to invest?

Big fat YES - if you are looking to get there quickly.

Do you need to take action?

Yes.

Do you need to know a market with a big demand?

Yes.

Do you need a tinge of luck? Well, it doesn't hurt.

Let me address this.

Am I saying Fiverr can make you $1,000 a day? I could, yes, but I was actually suggesting that the OP start his climb to $1,000 a day by using a proven business model that he can do for free. It may end up making him only $40 a day or $400, but it gets him off the mark.

He'll then have money he's earned (which will boost his confidence) to invest when and if he finds profit centers elsewhere. He might for instance have tried using Blogspot as a landing page for social network traffic. His money from Fiverr can then be used for a domain, hosting, themforest theme, aweber account, and so forth.

So, no, I didn't mean to suggest he could make his entire goal amount via Fiverr (though I imagine it's not impossible), only that he could start there. I should probably have been more clear!
