Pinging Youtube Videos

You can use Pingomatic but another thing to do it to create a few blogs (blogspot, wordpress, tumblr, etc.) then embed or upload your video on each, then take the RSS feeds from the blogs and your YouTube channel and combine them into one and submit them...to help to do this check out Feedage.com...hope that helps.

  Just to add that ping.fm does not exist anymore and has been replaced by seesmic ping, which does not match up with the functionalities of ping.fm.

I usually don't ping my Youtube videos. Once a a video is uploaded on Youtube it already pings them automatically.

I don't think it's important to ping YT video. The videos upload get indexed very fast.

If so, wouldn't the same apply to blogger as that is a google service? I made a blog and it still isn't indexed 2 days later.

Yeah I agree with everybody else. I use many different ping sites but not just that, because google might not pick it all up so I also post my video with an anchor text directly towards my youtube video on multiple blog sites I own. This helps alot and you can get rank really fast n days Like I do. (Its still useful as of today)

Heres a secret trick...enter your videos URL in the website field in the Google keyword tool. Check broad, phrase, exact on the side. Click search.

This is a huge underused trick to get my videos pinged/indexed in minutes
