Hey there guys and girls,

ive read ALOT on internet marketing, and have setup many article directory accounts, i post articles that link back to my blog and all the articles are uniuqe because i get them written for me (outsourcing) anyways im posting the articles everywhere i can, and am getting pathetic amounts of people to my blog which has affiliate links to the product im selling.

I mean, i guess theres just not enough people viewing my blog because im not seeing any sales etc. im trying to get to the first page on google for the keyword that i choose but i dont think that my blogger blog can get backlinks to it?

I mean i dont know whatelse to do to make my first sale.

basically ive

1. Set a blogspot blog up which has a article on the product im promoting, and at the end of it a affiliate link to the product.

2. i have paid for a outsourcing for about 10 articles about my niche with the keyword the name of my blogspot website.

3. i have submitted the articles to over 20 article directories

and i am seeing basically no results at all, only about 8 visitors in ALL to my main blogspot blog . i dont know what i should do.

im pretty stuck so any help would be greatly appriciated.

How old is your domain/blog? How recently did you submit the articles?

I've found the number one virtue you have to have in this business is patience
It can take several months to a year to really see any results from your efforts. You just have to keep plugging along at it. If you're persistent, you'll likely see results - but it won't be immediate.

You're getting backlinks every time you add an article with a link back to your blog through your article marketing. There are a ton of other ways of getting both backlinks and visitors.

Do a search for the phrase "how do I get traffic" in this forum alone and you'll learn a myriad # of ways to get new visitors and create backlinks at the same time.

Other searches that would be a good start
        • video marketing
        • forum marketing
        • press release submissions
        • social bookmarking
        • blog commenting
        • social networking
        That should get you started.

        Take notes,

I didn't read anything about your SEO efforts, where you are hosting and how you went about getting backlinks to improve your SERP on your keywords for your given niche. If you can't answer these questions well I think you have your answer.

Ive paid someone to submit my link to over 1000 websites, it dosnt mean i will get 1000 links it just means i might get afew, and the article submission websites should provide me with backlinks should they not?

All the work you are doing will likely be wasted without your own domain name and website. All your links will be going to the Blogspot site, and that location is not sustainable. You will want your own site with your own identity for the long haul.

No don't just keep submitting articles.

Get a variety of Links going to your site, and get some links to the articles you posted

Also get rid of blogger and get hosting and your own domain name you'll rank much better and you'll have control of you site..

Any website pages can get backlinks, but as your blogspot blog could get taken down then you are better off getting backlinks to your own web pages. At the least I would get a cheap domain and forward it to the blog and then if it gets pulled you can copy the blog onto your own webspace and use that domain.

10 articles isn't a great deal and it does take time to build traffic up. Maybe your call to action isn't strong enough. Maybe your keywords don't get enough searches, or your niche might not be an earner.

Maybe there is no problem at all, you just need to be patient and keep on doing everything that you can to get traffic.

If you are serious you need to host the blog yourself and grab your own domain name. Otherwise it's an uphill fight. I'm sure some people have had success with blogs at either blogspot or Wordpress directly but my own traffic zoomed once I integrated the blog within my own site. Much easier to backlink and nobody to look over your shoulder other than the Google monster.

I would buy my own website, i did have one but the costs where so much, it was 8.99$/month for hosting + the yearly fee and all i need is basically 1 sales page that explains the product thats for sale and a affiliate link to the product thats why i use blogspot

Well, the problem with this is that you do not own your blogspot blog and it can get shut down at any time, believe me it does happen especially with blogs that are basically only there to get clicks on their affiliate link. So, all the efforts of your articles and backlinks will be wasted because all those links will be pointing at your now defunct blogger blog.

But on to your actual question. It sounds to me that you just aren't doing enough. Believe it or not 10 articles is just a drop in the bucket and if you have not been doing keyword research or backlinking your articles to get them to rank then you will see very little traffic.

Do you know where each article ranks for it's keyword phrase?

How about your blog ... is it just one page? Where does it rank for the keyword?

How many searches do your keywords get each day?

What is the competition for each keyword?

you can host your site at byethost.com for free (it's a bit more of a pain than the paid hosts) then transfer it once you start earning some.

Another option is to go with weebly.com (not sure how difficult it is to transfer though).

You can also register a domain and continue to use your blogspot site.

        Eventually you want to self-host.

As has already been said you'll be far better off having your own website and promoting that.

As for the articles you either need quite a lot to get traffic or you need fewer if you learn how to get them ranked, but not for the same keywords as you target on your website.

          Hope that helps a little,

          Neil

For the sake of 30cents a day you are risking your whole business.

Why not get a generic domain name ( KT11TSOOreviews.com) and set up a number of different reviews in their own directory , you only need 1 sale a month to make a profit.

I can appreciate it's sometime difficult to spend money before you get any back but it's usually worth while in the long run

Hey man.. you need a lot of backlinks, that what you should do.. And blogspot is not a good platform for ranking. Buy a great (well researched) domain name, create a wp blog, and do a lot of backlinking.

Be patient with it, especially since you've only been at it for like a month. You're not going to like this, but unless you're in a niche that has VERY low competition, it's going to take a LOT to rank well. Even if it is a low competition niche, it still could take a long time to perform well.

Definitely consider your own domain, build more quality content on your blog, and backlink as much as possible over time (not all at once).

      Good luck.

The root of the problem is that your main focus is directed on building your email list and delivering value to your subscribers. Build a squeeze page and start sending traffic to your squeeze page.

You will need to create at least a 7 day free course or ebook before sending traffic to giveaway your gift to your the visitor that you funnel from your traffic. You will first have to create the free gift and then send people to squeeze. On your blog put a pop up - specifically light box email box to give away your free gift.

Have your emails and content already completed. Talk about your affiliate links as recommended resources in your free course. If people are not buying after seeing you at least 7 times than give away bonuses as incentive to create sales.

Also I suggest you put a signature promoting your free gift and your blog so we all can take a look at your blog.

    We'll start from the beginning.

To get anywhere in this business, you need your own domain, that is going to be $10 at least. Head over to Namecheap.com and get one for a blogging purpose and you get whoisguard free the first year. (No plug here, they're just the company I get all my domains from).

Hosting, well, that can range from FREE to $100 a month. Really depends on what you want to do. Right now I don't have any business sites up, just sites that I work on frequently for my art and webcomic purposes. A friend of mine hosts me out of the kindness of her heart.

I recommend surpass hosting, they're what I've used when I had business sites, and those sites only when down when I screwed up somehow, it wasn't the hosts fault at any point (that I was aware of).

Next, I agree that 10 articles just isn't enough. Sorry man, but 10 articles is barely a days work for a writer or an affiliate marketer. When I was working with articles, I wrote 10-25 a day. That's not much compared to some other members of this forum, but its definitely something. In a week you could have 70-175 articles. Lots more out there for you to get traffic from.

Blogspot is a backlink source in my opinion. I never use it for 'The' site where all my business is taking place. Again, the need for your own site is here. Blogspot should be pointing to this site of yours.

Also, if you've only got just one post on your blog about the product, its not going anywhere. Google isn't going to care about a blog that isn't updated regularly, nor is it going to care about your affiliate link.

Heck, I'd say buy a domain that redirects to the link if you have to. Sometimes affiliate links can be blindingly obvious to people who are careful enough to (and most are nowadays) to check the link ahead of time. All it takes is putting the mouse cursor over the link to see where it goes.

I was there, right were you are about 6 years ago friend. Just do more and more, as best as you can. Don't forget to use tools such as reddit, twitter, propeller, and other social media sites. They too can help with traffic and page ranking.

In the end, I would recommend simply quit being frugal about hosting, get a new domain, build a wordpress site out of it, and update it regularly. Write as many articles a day as you can, outsourcing this will be expensive if you don't want to do it, and submit them to article directories.

Internet marketing is WORK. It's not some magic fix-all that will touch of a button poof all this money into your account.

A needle in a haystack. You have one blogspot blog out of millions. Someone would have to look really hard to find it. The people that I've read about or watched videos on that make money with blogspot have hundreds or thousands of them and none of them get much traffic. Just a sale here or there, and the pure volume of sites allows them to do that.

I started with blogspot, and have 10 decent blogs with good content, article marketing, etc. etc. Very little traffic and a couple bucks here and there from adsense.
