focus on one specific aspect of self help.

then refocus it.

then tighten it up some more by focusing on what critical area you have some value and love for naturally.


you said you want to go into the self help niche... well, self help is like an ocean.

steer your boat on the ocean towards land, troll the shore of the ocean till you find a river mouth, go up the river as far as you can, dock the boat and walk along the river banks into the forest, when you think you found a place thats cool to settle, build a bridge across the river (this is your blogsite), walk through the forest back to the main road carving a path for others, put up a sign at the road side (your marketing) and ...

Focus on your love, your expertise, your passion.

Know that it is needed by others. Research it. Become the expert in that specific niche and shout it out to the world.
