I promote Clickbank products like anyone else, but if you're new think outside the box that the get rich quick ebooks have put your mind in.

Clickbank is not the only affiliate network and the main problem with it is that everyone uses it.

You can profit a hell of a lot easier for your efforts by focusing on the large networks that specialize in physical products.

Thus ends todays 2 post limit.. Im going back to work

I guess the BIGGEST reason why everyone uses ClickBank to promote products is they know they'll get paid. ClickBank has a solid rep. for paying affiliates and that speaks volumes when you get a few knuckle heads who never pay their affiliates.

Now I'm not talking about affiliates who are late in paying because sometimes hey shit happens but when you send email after email and no response and no payment well then ClickBank looks pretty good.

Yup, agreed. I have begun adopting a Clickbank-based model for this very reason.

Well... clickbank doesn't look too good pertaining to the most recent posts that claim clickbank is experiencing troubles... like over 2000 hops and no conversion sales...

it's obvious that clickbank has been experiencing affiliate tracking problems...

Trouble shrumble ... Personally I haven't seen to much of a difference in my sales as an affiliate with ClickBank.

I say go with the flow... I promote a lot of ClickBank products with my affiliate link wide open and even make sure to tell everyone to ensure that my link is at the bottom of the order page on ClickBank because I offer dam good exclusive bonuses that compliment the product I'm promoting so I don't really have that problem.

If everyone would stop being so dam quick to complain about "ClickBank this" and "Clickbank that" and start thinking how they can eliminate those so-called tracking problems then they would not be in this mess.

Also, people aren't going to continue to buy the same product forever. There are very few products out there that are true evergreen.

CB denied my product 6 different times (two different products), so I went to PDC. Haven't looked back.

Do you find a good number of affiliates looking for your product in PDC, or are you active in seeking affiliates yourself.

It always seemed to me that one of the attractions of CB is the large number of affiliates actively seeking products?

That can be a real problem. A product owner is earning when the sales are made and failure to pay affiliates on time simply means he is not allocating the affiliate payments. Excuses aren't acceptable but some sellers seem to have a lot of them.

It doesn't matter how good a product is or how well it converts if you are not being paid for your affiliate sales or have to constantly beg for the payments due. With CB you don't have to worry about that.

umm... I guess you haven't read anything about the tracking problems "SOME" people are experiencing... not just here at this forum, but many many other places and it happened to me also...

The genuine TROUBLE is the affiliate ID's are not being passed correctly... you send a click through the normal hoplink process, and when you go to the bottom of the clickbank order page you see this...

          affiliate = none

and no, it's not cookie stuffing, or else you would see a hijacked affid there... not none... and it's been tested that the vendors are not doing anything to strip the affid.... so it has been determined that CLICKBANK has been screwing up. Period.

now if you say, 'go with the flow' and just stop complaining and just promote the hell out of your affiliate links... well, that's just not going to work if the affiliate company's tracking system is not working properly.

I promote about 10 different affiliate products, only one through clickbank

Early on I set out only to search for residual income affiliate programs I'm still getting paid for sales I made 9 months ago.

its nice getting 10 different checks in the mail every month

Think about it If you make one sale that earns you 30 dollars a month that is $360 per year every time you make a sale your yearly income increases by $360

I have been selling at least 2 a day since i started 9 months ago and that is just from one product
now multiply that by ten products and you have some good money

I see a lot of ClickBank bashing lately - all I can say is: they may not be perfect but NO they do NOT stink as far as I am concerned.

I totally disagree with you. Clickbank isn't stinking that is the birth place of lot's of top level affiliate marketers. I agree that there're some disadvantages gathered with click bank's tracking system. But everything have a solution, allow to your experience to avoid those bad bargains.

I took a break from ClickBank for awhile, but then jumped back into the fray when Jonny Andrews asked me to promote the Money Siphon thing. I got great results...

So good that I decided to put my own products back up on CB.

I don't think they suck. I think it all depends on your market, your product, and how much the products you promote *don't suck*.

Clickbank is great for publishers (other than the automatic refunds) not currently so great for affiliates. The fact that we praise it for simply existing and consistently paying out says a lot about this business I think.
