How to put Analytics on the Blog?

Hi Warriors,

I've been trying to stick the code of Google Analytics onto my blog
so I know where people are coming from but I've been unsuccessful.

Has anyone done this before and if so, how did you do it?

To directly add the analytics code go to design then theme editior then index template place the code above </body>

The exact names may be different for your theme or wordpress version, but you probably can figure it out.
