It's commonly known that Facebook is not most user friendly of sites to navigate and learn about.

Nevertheless, it has to be acknowledged as one of the most successful sites in the Internet's history.

What I would love to know, is what questions are the around Facebook, that many find difficult to find answers about.
Here is the place to ask anything you like about Facebook and more than likely receive answers for.

My first question I'd love to have answered is, What is the best technique, or process to get your fan page liked relatively quickly?

There's no mystery to it - a crowd attracts a crowd. It's as simple as that. Once you get the initial hurdle of getting a few thousand fans out of the way and you stoke that fire by being unique enough, compelling enough, humorous enough, etc. to be worth sharing it's usually not hard to get that snowball rolling.

Also, giving something away for "Likes" works very well. Make a new box and make it your default view. Now commit yourself to looking at is as though it's a squeeze page and give people that "like" your page something that's worth pushing that button. Make sure it's relevant, timely, and if you want that FB page up and running for more than a few days - agrees with their TOS.

Just go about it like anything else. People tend to over-complicate Facebook when all it is, really, is just a place people go when they're bored. Give them something to look at, do, talk about, etc. and you're 90% of the way to being "viral".

I completely agree about this, people have this misconception that you need to be "creative" and "cool" in order to be successful in social media. It's not a prerequisite (though it can help), and the easiest way to get "likes" is to incentivize them with something attractive!

I've seen some Fan pages incentivize by giving out discount codes, and if you're selling digital reports you could always offer a good free report on a relevant topic that is in high demand. You could also give people who "like" you "sneak preview" access to something that you're selling in the case of a product launch.

Nice comment about Facebook. I am always into facebook and I find it good but there are just some features that I want to browse and I just couldn't find it immediately.

I wonder how does facebook get into its peak fame now that it has overlaid the then oustanding networking sites?

As to making a fan page that is relatively liked quickly, it's best to consider a topic that hits a large audience.

Get a page with a good hook or a catchy title, drive a ton of initial likes to it either from your account or your friends accounts. If it's funny/catchy/cool/has a good call to action etc you'll crush it.
